How could you know?
Vegas; Sin City. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, right? Vegas is practically the Amsterdam of North America. Unspeakable things happen under the neon lights of this party town, and there are no secrets here, no matter what you're taught to believe. The drinks flow, parties last all night, and if you want a quickie, you can get one in the dressing room of the nearest store. But when you're leaving the red light city, the lights and the parties fade into the desert air, and there's nothing for miles.
Why would you care?
Thus we come to Needles, California, tiny town about two hours outside of Las Vegas, nestled quietly on the Colorado River. Life is leisurely, the pace isn't as fast as in the big cities, and... well, there is no privacy whatsoever. Not to mention that the school's got a reputation for producing terrible kids. Sure, most of them do keep at least a 3.7 GPA, but there is a lot that teachers and parents don't know about these students. Of course, they think their children are innocent little angels. But they're so wrong. Oh so wrong. With drugs, alcohol and sex lingering in the air practically everywhere you go, it's hard to imagine people so oblivious to it all. The theory? Parents do know, they just refuse to believe. If their kid is going to a party, they automatically assume it's a well mannered party. Wrong again. This is just the rock and roll lifestyle.
I'm losing control
Even within the school, where most would believe that things are under control, there is still dealing going on. Practically everyone in the school knows someone who knows someone who is a meth dealer. You just have to look in the right place. But be careful who you trust, you never know when your deepest darkest secrets would be at rick of exposure to the world. There are the few who just don't give a damn, however, and they flash it around like it's nothing.
Are you getting scared?
In a town like this, where secrets are no longer secrets, most teens just don't care anymore, and do whatever the hell they want, whenever the hell they want. Without so much as a care in the world, the teens party and drink and party excessively. If you're going to party, you have to do it the correct way, right? Party hard. Drink harder.
Come and join the kids of Needles, and try not to get tangled in the webs woven throughout the town. There's sex, drugs, parties-- lying, cheating stealing-- love and loss, tears and laughter-- it's all here. We all know what it's like to survive these years, so come and show how far, deep down, our "petty" teen dramas really delve.
