Title: SOME UNHOLY WAR

“Cassius…please…I can explain...”
“AVADA KEDAVRA!”
“CASSIUS, NO!”
“I’m so sorry darling… did I do the wrong thing? OBLIVIATE!”
Cassius Zabini watched as James Potter fell limp against the pillow, his eyes wide open with shock. He had come home from his job at the Ministry early, only to find James in bed with his fiancé, Cyndra Harper. After a moment to process what had been going on, he immediately pointed his wand at James and killed him, ignoring the screams of protest from Cyndra.
Cassius had loved Cyndra. But Cyndra had never loved Cassius. You see, they were betrothed to each other since his seventh year at Hogwarts. In fact, he personally asked his father to arrange it. She was a very beautiful and charming girl, not to mention the fact that she enamored half of the male population of Hogwarts. But she had never liked the idea of being tied down, so naturally she always had a wandering eye. But the fateful night when Cassius found her in bed with Harry Potter’s eldest son, he snapped. He managed to kill James, but couldn’t bear to kill Cyndra. Being too proud to admit the fact that Cyndra didn’t love him, Cassius performed a strong memory charm to make her forget. He made her forget her murdered her lover, that she had a lover, and that she didn’t love Cassius.
Cassius had never been a bad man until that night. But jealousy and betrayal had turned him into a bitter and sadistic man. He vowed to seek revenge on James Potter’s family and to destroy everything that Harry Potter has fought for, while his fiancé had no clue as to what was going on. He gathered the ashamed and ostracized children of former Death Eaters, and promised them the glory that their fathers never had. He said it was their duty to complete what Lord Voldemort had never been able to finish. They agreed, hoping to finally bring back the respect and honor their family name once had.
It was then that the Death Eaters were reborn and the killings began.

Never had Ophelia seen the Ministry so… distressed. Well, not since the fall of Voldemort. She frowned as she began to walk to her station as the Minister of Magic’s assistant. She looked at some of the reports that seemed so official and then put them down and pointed her wand toward her quill and whispered, “Accio, quick quill!”
As the pen floated toward her, the minister barged out of his office and looked at Ophelia intensely. “Ophelia! You won’t believe this! More murders, its just insanity!” Ophelia frowned and whispered, “Calm down, sir, should I ask someone to get you some tea?” He shook his head vigorously, “No! No, don’t bother with it. I need you to listen, and write this down, please.” Ophelia nodded and pulled out some parchment and watched as the quick quill was at ready on the parchment. She nodded for the minister to continue on with his story. He sighed and tapped his foot and whispered, “Well, Ophelia, so many wizards and muggles have been dying, a troubling matter, really. Well, one of the members of the ministry came to me claiming one of their cousins had died thanks to a group of people, hidden under masks. The Death Eaters are back, but he wasn't quite sure who was leading them, but all he was sure of was that they were made by someone of great magic, someone that can’t just be defeated.”
Ophelia stared at him with disbelief as the quill quickly wrote down words. She bit her lower lip and sighed, “Sir that is a very bad situation we have… isn’t it?” The minister suspected the question was rhetorical so he didn’t even respond; he just sighed and with his hands brushed his brunette hair. “Dear, dear, Ophelia, it’s not a major problem yet, this will be solved by the aurors as soon as possible, after all we have defeated them before.” She looked at him with a frown and whispered, “Of course it’s not a problem.” To her suspicions it was going to be an enormous predicament, and she was quite right.

The year is 2026; Harry Potter had defeated Voldemort twenty-nine years before that in a terrible battle at Hogwarts, to the ministry’s pleasure. Harry Potter had always believed that with enough skill in magic and just a little bit of faith anything could be accomplished, and that was what made him one of the greatest ministry aurors ever. When the Death Eaters were re-created and started their murders, Harry's son, Albus Potter was one of the very few that did not cower in fear. As the ministry grew even more afraid, Cassius Zabini's Death Eaters grew stronger. In choosing to cover up the Death Eater's reappearance, the ministry is making the same mistake that the past ministry had made. The Death Eaters are about to destroy everything they had achieved; a strong ministry, a group of amiable people, and their innocent followers.
The Ministry is headed to some unholy war.
