"Constantine is another fella from Nimbus. Again, he's younger than I am but hey! Age is just a number. Why does everyone seems younger than me? Makes me feel...nevermind. Where was I? Oh yes, Constantine. He's a good looking kid. I can't deny that and we're rather good friends. He have hung out a few times and he's a fun person (who doesn't really talk that much. (What's with Nimbus boys and the silence anyway?!) At first impression, he seemed cold and all but once you get to know him he's a super sweetheart. No doubt about that. He and I met a few years back when I was jacking a box of Capri Sun from the school newspaper office. He's a photog so yeah, I guess he caught me red handed and all but damn, it was worth it. The liquid didn't go to waste of course. It was a funny way to meet but I guess it did happened and there's nothing I could do about it. But then again, that was some well worth Suns'!"
"Tristyn--the girl who decided she'd steal our Capri Suns. I was trying to get some photos developed, so I caught her red-handed. Well, it's perfectly fine with me, I don't care, but I did feel it was my duty to say something. We ended up drinking the suns and actually having a bit of a conversation, though I'm afraid it was mostly one-sided, myself not being much of a conversationalist. It was an interesting scenario, and well worth it. It must be true what they say about opposites attracting. Trix is the complete opposite of me--hyper, talkative, a bit crazy sometimes, in a good way--and yet we get along very well, even though she's older. And I'm very glad she survived the fire."

"Constantine, is that Nimbus student that I sat next to on my plane ride to Aura. Well that was a difficult time for me but I felt worse for him…I mean, at the time I didn’t know what the hell was going on. He was trying to avoid touching anything. At first I thought the fire traumatized him and was about to get my seat moved before he did something crazy but he calmed after a while. Plus the flight attendant made me sit. He was rather quiet and I had to kind of influence him to start talking. I thought that he was a senior but it turned out he was only a freshie! Ehhh….I don’t really know Constantine that well. It seems like I should, I’ve seen him somewhere and our families somehow know each other. It’s kind of hard to forget a name like that so…I don’t know, ask him about it. Now thar we're at Aura, we are also roomates but thats all that I know of the kid."
"I never knew Knight before Nimbus burned down, probably because Nimbus is a big school, and he's a senior while I'm only a freshman. We were placed next to each other on the plane to Aura Academy. “Well… To start off, I’m Constantine’s one and only big brother. I’m probably one of the few people who know him best and hopefully one of the closest people to him. I mean I was there when he was born, I was there when he first came home, I was there when he first wet his bed, I was there when he started school, I was there whenever he needed me. We came from one of those hard places, in other words the hell hole I knew as home. Our parents were rarely home so it was up to me to take care of him and our sister. I mean, Michael couldn’t even be considered a father seeing he spent most of the time drunk and our mom always had an excuse to stay at work late. I spent most of my time playing with him and helping him with his studies. He’s one of the smartest kids I’ve ever met and I’m proud of him for it. Constantine is making a future for himself and I’m going to help him get there. I mean, his name is pretty big for someone as short as him so he better fill up his name up to the brim. I’m really protective of him and I’m constantly worrying about him. Since his power tends to mess him up a bit I try my best not to keep anything from him. I don’t want him to touch me and find out that I’ve been hiding something from him. I don’t want to hurt him by hiding something from him. If he ever needs me I’ll be there in a heart beat and if he doesn’t know that yet… Well, I’m still going to be there for him no matter what."
"Since I was a kid, Drake's been there for me. He had to take care of my sister and me when my parents didn't really care about us. It must have been hard on him, but Drake's a good guy, he fulfilled the role of big brother, role model and, at times, babysitter, perfectly. He has higher expectations of me than I might have of myself, but that's only helped me to work up to those expectations. When our sister died, it brought us closer together. But I feel like I've just been a burden on him--he's protective, like he always has been, and he worries about what being psychometric does to me. I don't touch him out of courtesy to him. "I had no reason to even look at Constantine until a few months ago. Cue tragedy. It seems to have brought us together, perhaps for the best. It's really too early to say, but, as it is, we get along. Rather well, too. He acts how I feel. I just put on a mask and smile through it all, but Constantine? He's a quiet little shithead, isn't he? Indeed. But, anyway, he's not nearly as irritating or asinine as any of the other students that made it out alive. There's also another reason we get along. It's a bit embarrassing on my part, but entirely accidental. See, I kinda stuck a bone into his shoulder.
"It was during the plane ride. I was upset, anxious--fuck, I was miserable. And I was stuck next to this kid. I got jumpy when we went through turbulence. A bone just decided to grow out of my shoulder and, unfortunately right into him. It wasn't so bad, I think. Just a tiny prick. But, when I was busy trying to stop my bleeding and his, I brushed his hand. He's psychometric. So, er, he kinda knows a few things he shouldn't. I think he just got a glimpse of my and Beltran, but the look on his face said more than his mouth once I’d made his spit out what he’d seen. I value my privacy. I would have beaten him left, right, and center to remove that scene from his skull, but mum’s the word with him. And I appreciate that. It was an odd circumstance that, shall we say, brought us together, but I’m—I’m rather glad it did.”
"My friendship with Ryence began on the plane ride to Aura Academy. This was one extremely awful time for me--my parents had p and moved to God-knows-where, Mariana was killed, buried in all that rubble, Gabriel was halfway across the damn plane, and everybody around me had a story to tell, so I was practically hyperventilating, trying not to touch anyone. And here's Ryence sitting next to me, and no matter how bad I feel, I can tell he's feeling at least just as bad. We hit turbulence, and a bone pops out of his shoulder--bone manipulation is apparently not as cool as it may sound. Anyway, he touches my hand as he's trying to clean the blood off, and that's pretty much it. Every emotional experience in his past floods my mind, and there are a lot of them. Some would make me blush just to think about it, but what keeps me under is that this guy--Beltran--is now dead. With Mariana. With all the others who died at Nimbus. And I think he thought I'd out him or something, because he looked about ready to pummel me, but I'm not telling anyone anything. It was embarassing enough for me when all the emotions from him, myself and everyone else who kept bumping me in the goddamn airport made me break down later. But somehow, that managed to bring us together, and i'm glad--I'm just never going to touch him again.

She's not that bad, actually, and we understand each other, at least as far as the power goes. So we're friends. If I had any need of advice on psychometrics, I might go to Carrie--an older student, a bit more in control of her power than myself."
