So I'm assuming I can post here, though you know what they say about assuming--it makes an arse out of you and me. (I'll risk it just this once.)

Thought I'd post here so that everyone knows who I am. My friends call me Mac (a long story having to do with the fact that I like apples and my friend Holton is a geek, like myself), I'm 14, and I'm a sophmore in high school. (I skipped kindergarten... another long story.)

I love roleplaying of pretty much any kind. My roleplaying second life began with D&D when I was seven or so--going across the street to play D&D in my friend's dining room, about six of us. Their mom was an awesome DM, which isi where my brother learned to be an even better one. I began to rp in forums just a couple of years ago.

I'm in all sorts of school teams, including chamber choir, academic team (it's a sport, really!), and drama club. I speak French and I'm going to France in 2009 with my class. I'm obsessed with Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series, and a ton of other books aside; I spend a lot of time in the library (and the Arby's next door to that). Like my character Scout, I'm bi--unlike Scout, though, I live in an extremely homophobic town. And attend a homophobic church every Sunday. (Life is so much fun, right?)

Anyway, enough of my life story. Just thought I'd introduce myself--ended up being a bit stretched out, didn't it?

Pssh, I love Academic competitions, but it's about as much a sport as Poker (which is to say, not really). My philosophy is that if you can eat while doing it, it's not a sport. =P
