AnimationSHINING OH SO BRIGHTLY
Personality Traits:superficial; materialistic; shallow; judgemental
proud; cocky; bordering on arrogance
selfish; inconsiderate
vain; conceited; narcissitic
commitment phobic; doesn't like to be tied down
reckless; temperamental
blunt; insensitive
lonesome; needy
deceitful; misleading
General Personality:Delilah is a rather confusing person. You first impression of Delilah is usually a bad one. It just seems natural for her bad traits to out shine her good ones. Delilah has always been taught that someone's self-worth was judged by their apearance and even their material possessions. It was something her mother did and always has and will do. So it just seems natural for Delilah to do the same. Delilah is quite judgemental. She has her opinion of everyone, whether that opinion is good or bad. She's not afraid to voice her thoughts, either. Even when she doesn't mean to, Delilah will hurt others' feelings; for she often makes "innocent suggestions" to people about to do their hair the right way or how they shouldn't wear those pants because it makes them look fat.
Sometimes it's just her honest nature shining through. Delilah is absoloutely blunt with everyone. If you ask her a question, don't expect her to smooth things over in order to please you. Nope. She lays it all out there. Delilah is very efficient at dodging questions about herslef, though. If it's a topic she doesn't wish to discuss, she may tell you some half-truths or ignore you altogether until the subject is dropped. Delilah tends to feel that her ideas and opinions are right. She is nearly always insistly that she's right. Admitting to being wrong [no matter how wrong she is] isn't something you're likely to get out of Delilah. She stubborn and unwavering. In her opinion, she's always right. No argument necassary.
Delilah is quite full of herself. She will gloss over or completely ignore qualities about herself that aren't impeccably wonderful. If you were to bring up a failure or fault of hers, she'd likely pretend you were a lunatic or find some way to twist it to her benefit. Delilah doesn't like failing. Losing is not in her blood, and she's a very sore loser. And, of course, it's never her fault. There is always someone else to blame for the failure. Delilah will exaggerate her self-worth to anyone who's willing to listen. She honestly finds herself superior to most people.
Delilah isn't all bad though. It's not as if every person she sees she's spitting at and criticizing. No one in the world would talk to her, if that were the case. Delilah starves for attention, and she surrounds herself with people that will lavish her with it. Delilah isn't afraid to lie straight to your face if it benefits her in one way or another. She can be deceitful and misleading. More than one person would willing call her a back stabber. Delilah loves to gossip and reveal the secrets of others. She's good at starting fights between others, breaking up friendships and relationships, and spreading crazy tales. You cannot underestimate someone like Delilah. She is extremely selfish and inconsiderate. However, she's not a hard ass or anything. You wouldn't catch this prim princess in a fist fight or anything of the sort.
Delilah is princess-like. She surrounds herself with weak people that will listen to her whine and moan and who will lavish her with attention and compliments. She loves being pampered and taken care of. Delilah has a horrid temper, and she will lash out at anyone and everyone when she's ticked off. Delilah is full of bad qualities; so full of them, actually, that it's difficult to find any good ones. The truth is, though, that Delilah's still that little girl who was starved for her parents affection. That may account for her reasoning for being afraid of commitment. Afterall, the two people that should've been closest to her as a child neglected her.

Appearance:Delilah had an undisputed exotic beauty about her. The first thing likely to catch you eyes are -let's be honest her- her large breasts. It would be an outright lie to say that people don't generally notice the size of her bosoms. They are real, to say the least. Afterall, what seventeen year-old gets breast implants? Certainly not Delilah. Though she wouldn't need them, anyway. Delilah's breasts are not so big that they've unnatural-looking or odd in anyway. They're just generously sized and tend to draw the attention of many. However, Delilah is not afraid to flaunt her nice bosoms to anyone who'll look. Not that she'll go around flashing people, mind you. However, cleavage is an everday thing for her.
After you've gawked and/or salivated over Delilah's generous breasts, you might bring yourself to notice other parts of her beautiful body. One of the most intriguing parts of Delilah's body are her eyes. Delilah's eyes are a blue-grey color that might remind you off the sky right before a storm or on a generally gloomy day. Delilah's eyes appear to be full of depth, and you seem to get sucked into them. It really can become and addicting habit; looking into her eyes. Thick lashes of ebony curl upward from her lids, accenuating her already lovely eyes. Shaped like almonds, her eyes only add to the exotic, untamed beauty which Delilah possesses.
The rest of Delilah's face just seems to fall into place around her eyes -the "center piece" of her face. Just above her stormy eyes are carefully arched brows of nearly the same shade as her hair. Above that, the expanse of her forehead of average size is smooth. Between her almond-like eyes, sits a pretty little nose that Delilah once despised. Her nose is one of rather small proportions. However, that makes Delilah's beauty unique to only herself. Delilah's cheeks are smooth and indistinguishable. However, when she smiles they become slightly distinguishable. Her jaw is chiseled and nearly masculine in it's square-like structure. Lastly, you have Delilah's lips. Both are full and perfectly kissable, though the top one seems slightly upturned -almost in a lisp fashion. However, when she smiles gleamingly white teeth seem to brighten up the room.
Delilah's hair is relatively long; falling to Delilah's lower back. It's a very dark, rich brown color; possibly the same color as chocolate! However, honey-colored highlights have been artificially dyed into the natural brown. On most occassions, Delilah wear's her hair down and straight. Delilah has an elegant, long neck. Dainty shoulders and small but toned arms can be seen as your gaze travels the length of her. Breasts have already been ogled, but you might feel the need to do so again. Next you'll see the beautiful expanse of Delilah's stomach. It's flat and quite attractive. Even her navel could be considered attractive. A trim waist and dainty hips my fool you as to what a delight Delilah's rump is to look at. It's rather full and perky, only adding to her already attractive body. However, one of the most tantalizing parts of Delilah's body are her legs. Given her height, they seem to stretch on for miles. They are like and endless length of beauty. Delilah quite likes her legs and keeps them toned and beautiful looking. Now that you've reached the bottom of Delilah's body, you'll see that she has average-size feet that are not peculiar nor beautiful. They are average in themselves. Her entire body is tanned, as well. Just as she likes it.
SHOWING THE WAY TO HEAVEN
Family Members:Antoinette "Annie" Summers; Mother - Socialite && Ex-model - 43 yrs
Jeremy Summers; Father - High Profile Lawyer - 47 yrs

Pet(s):Salem - Delilah's three year-old, solid black cat.
Skunky - Delilah's several month-old, grey and white kitten.
Financial Status:Wealthy
History:Antoinette, otherwise known as Annie, met Jeremy Summers in the most un-romantic of ways. Annie started modeling as a young girl, and so she was well established in her work by her late teens. It was when she was seventeen that she met the man she intended to marry. His name was William Antwerp. Anne was of the upper middle class, and though she was a far cry from poor, she detested her plain lifestyle. Even though she was quickly climbing ranks in the modeling world, William [a highly respected and wealthy photographer] would be her perfect mate if she wished to escape from the dull life she lived and become a world-famous supermodel. For some reason, William was absoloutely enchanted with the young Antoinette. It was quite a surprise, seeing as William had seen [and bedded] many beautiful women and model throughout his career. Annie was encouraged that her dreams would be fulfilled, especially since William seemed as eager to wed her as she was he.
However, marriage is taken for granted these day, as is common knowledge. The two had wed for entirely different reasons; William for love and Antoinette for wealth and power. In the beginning, the newlyweds led a grand life where both were content. William believed the lies of professed love that Annie fed him, and Annie was content with her rising fame and her newfound wealth. As they say, though: all good things must come to an end. After Antoinette had accquired the status she'd so long desired, she became discontent with her husband and his constant affections. She'd figured his infatuation with her would've ceased existance by this time in her marriage, and William was beginning to become irritated with Antoinette for pushing him away. It was dawning on him that his wife might not love him as she claimed.
Antoinette began having secret affairs that soon became open affairs. After some time, she no longer cared if her husband was aware of her adultery. William and Annie's marriage soon became a tense relationship full of displeasure and hatred. At some point, William fell in love with another woman who was a photographer, like him. At first he was loathe to be unfaitful to his wife, even though he was aware of her own affairs. However, he eventually begun an affair with the photographer. When Antoinette became aware of this, she immediately realized the opportunity she'd been presented with. Antoinette filed for divorce from her husband, accusing him of adultery. She, of course, hired Jeremy Summers as her attorney. Jeremy instantly sympathized with the seemingly innocent wife who'd been betrayed by her husband. He knew a good case when he saw one, and he was sure he'd win her a nice sum of her husband's money. Though William attempted to convince judge and jury that his wife had committed adultery many times during their marriage, his wife was an incredible actress and convinced them all. In the end, Antoinette won a sizeable amount of money in the divorce settlement and was pitied by the world. William moved on to marry the woman he'd had an affair with.
Antoinette, at some point during the trial, had become infatuated with her lawyer, Jeremy. Jeremy, not being one to tie himself down to a woman, had not wished to have anything to do with Annie. However, temptation proved too much and the two ended up getting intimate on several occassions before and after Annie's divorce. However, Jeremy returned to his own home, confident their affair had been no strings attached. Soon afterward, though, Jeremy was surprised to find Annie had tracked him down to deliver surprising -and rather unexpected- news. She was pregnant. Jeremy knew he had no choice but to marry the woman. Afterall, he couldn't let her run off with his child. Antoinette and Jeremy eloped and became love-less newlyweds. Some months later, Delilah Anne Summers was born.
Nearly as soon as she was brought home from the hospital, Delilah was handed over to a hired nanny to be looked after. After all, her mother had to regain her figure if she wished to continue her career; and that meant long hours with a personal trainer. And, of course, Mr. Summers was busy handling his own business. It seemed Delilah's parents couldn't be bother with such a nuisance as a crying, pooping baby. While Delilah was young, she always yearned for her parents attention. Whenever one would come home from one of their long trips, Delilah would throw herself and their feet and beg them never to leave again. Of course, her parents never agreed to such proposterous requests. Instead, they feigned being tired from a long trip and promptly avoided Delilah for the rest of the day. This left Delilah feeling abandoned and lonely. This, of course, is how Delilah first discovered her power -animation. If she couldn't have human people to entertain her, Delilah could certainly interact with her dolls and stuffed toys. Though they could not, in reality, speak to Delilah; she you occassionally imagined that her toys were holding conversations with her and among themselves. She would play make-believe, trying to heal her heart and make up for her parents' lack of attention toward her. However, it was only a temporary moment of relief, because, in the end, Delilah always new that her toys weren't people [and certainly not her parents]. Therefore, they were unable to make up for the void within her; no matter how much she made believe.
Delilah was never sent to boarding school through her elementary years. Instead, she had many tutors who taught her the many subjects that we must learn in our lives. Delilah rarely socialized, and her parents became worried that she'd be unstable in social situations unless they began subjecting her to them. Delilah figured they didn't want her to disgrace them by being socially inadequete, and that, that was the real reason behind their concerns. Either way, Delilah began particpating in gymnastics. Surprisingly, Delilah enjoyed the activity. Though she didn't make friends as quickly as she, and her parents, would have liked; she did eventually make a few true friends. However, she was careful to associate herself with the "right" people, otherwise her parents [especially her mother] would yank her from the sport. Though the neglectful Antoinette barely paid her daughter a second of attention, she always aware of who everyone in the household associated themselves with. Antoinette didn't want to be humiliated by some silly little girl who wanted to make friends with every poor child she came in contact with; not that Delilah ever came into contact with any lower-class citizen. If she did, it was a day to be marked on the calender; for it was an extremely rare occasion.
Delilah was constantly surrounded being "protected" or "watched" by people. She always had more then one nanny. Most of the time, one or more lived in the house. Never was there a time when a nanny wasn't living at their estate. When she went out, Delilah was always chaperoned. Even as she became a teenager, her parents constantly kept well-paid body guards on her. No matter how discreetly she was being watched, Delilah never seemed to have any privacy. There always seemed to be someone to tell her what to do and who to me, and there was always people keeping tabs on her. Delilah hated it, partially because she didn't understand why her parents cared so much when they hardly ever saw her themselves. It was because of their constant absence and neglect that allowed Delilah to keep her special power and secret. She was careful not to obviously practice it in front of anyone; especially since it seemss everyone around her was more loyal to her parents then to her. However, Delilah's power often came in handy when she wanted to escape the watchful eyes of her parents' goons. Antoinette and Jeremy were, for once, both in complete agreement with each other; they were both completely exasperated with Delilah and her behaviour and thought she should be sent to a private, boarding school. Delilah was certain that this was one of their ploys to rid themselves of responsility for her -or just her in general. For once, Delilah was excited to obey them.
Delilah was ready for high school, and she'd yet to learn all the tricks of her power. She didn't have any in-depth knowledge of special powers or how to wield them correctly. However, Delilah had got her hands on some priceless information: there was a private high school that catered to her needs. It was Aura Academy. The school was prestigious and well-known, so Delilah was absoloutely positive that her oblivious parents would agree to let her attend there. Of course, she was right. Her parents happilly dismissed their daughter to attend Aura Academy, glad to finally have rid themselves of the burden of her.

Delilah sat primly on the edge of her seat. She was staring longingly at the clock. There were only three minutes left of class, but it seemed to be dragging on forever. Impatiently, Delilah listened to Mr. Seltik drone on about their reading material for the weekend. Delilah ignored him completely. It was the end of the school day and she was ready to be free from the confines of a classroom. Delilah needed to do some shopping before the weekend parties began. She needed something new and fresh, in order to keep the attention on her. She always knew how to steal the spotlight, no matter who was in it before she arrived. A lot of the girls loathed Delilah because of her classic beauty and conceitedness. It was a small price to pay for the attention and popularity Delilah most often had. Of course, the guys were a different story entirely. There were a few who were afraid to approach Delilah, mostly because of her superior attitude. However, many of the boys lusted after Delilah. It wasn't as if she were unattainable, though. To some, yes. But not all. Delilah was a a sexual creature, but she often sought out her own prey. She still had yet to be declined by whomever she might offer and it only continued to feed her ego.
At last, the clock ticked to 8 o'clock. Delilah didn't even wait for Mr. Seltik to dismiss the class. Instead, she rose and hurried for the door. The last thing she saw before escaping from the room was Mr. Seltik's irritated expression. Delilah didn't care, though. She was free, free! She wouldn't see the grumpy, old teacher again until monday. By then, it was likely that he'd have forgotten her having rushed from his classroom. With that pleasant thought in mind, Delilah worked her way through the crowd, heading toward her locker. Unfortunately, everyone kept stopping her to chat or discuss a party or just to say hi. Normallky, Delilah would be loving all the attention she was recieving. However, she was becoming quite irritated with everyone. All she wanted to do was get out of here and hit up the mall. Delilah cut a few conversations short and completely ignored three or four people, but she didn't care if the held it against her. She needed to shop, for chrissakes!
With a sigh of relief, Delilah finally made it to her locker. She quickly twisted the lock and opened it. The door slid open albeit it creaked discouragingly. Delilah ignored the sound and fished out the few books she thought she'd need over the weekend. Tossing the rest in there, she slammed the locker door and rushed for her car. This time, Delilah completely ignored anyone who tried to get her attention; pretending not to hear or see them. She was starting to get blisters from the heels she was wearing; heels that clicked against the tile floor. Delilah only hoped she had a different pair of shoes in her car. Otherwise, her feet would be too sore to walk after trooping around the mall for a few hours. She was relieved to find a pair of comfortble flip-flops in her back seat. Delilah turned her key in the ignition and started her car. She swerved around most of the end-of-the-day-traffic and was out of the parking lot in record time. Delilah turned on her radio and hummed along to "Skater Boy" by Avril Lavigne.
The mall was only a few blocks from the school. As Delilah arrived in the parking lot, she was pleased to see that the place looked rather slow today. That meant she'd have room to maneuver in the mall without bumping elbows with some creep or angry stranger. Delilah parked in a spot near the entrance and killed the engine. She studied her reflection in her rear-view mirror. She dabbed on some extra lip-gloss and touched up her eyeliner. Smiling in satisfaction, Delilah smoothed a brush through her hair. Then she climbed from her car and locked it. So happy she could skip, Delilah headed for the entrance. Some random guy held the door for her and she smiled a thank you. Then Delilah was finally where she'd wanted to be since she awoke that morning. The mall.
