Special is an understatement.

Have you ever noticed something different about you that separated you from all your friends? Have you ever walked through a wall while sleepwalking? Or maybe you’re one of those kids who can talk to animals? Or perhaps you somehow, "miraculously," survived a fire that burned down your whole house? Well, guest what? Believe it or not, you’re magic. Yeah, right.

Aura Academy. To the world, Aura Academy is a prestigious academy that selects its own students by random choice; not by money, status, or class. Well, that’s just the cover; the mask that conceals the reality from the world. Do you know what the truth; the reality is? You really want to know the whole, real truth?

Aura Academy is a school for the gifted, no, not for those really smart kids, but for the kids that are… well, magic. They have powers, abilities that are thought make-believe – they can control fire, they can turn invisible, heck, some can even fly through the air. So… Aura Academy is just a place for kids to learn how to control their powers, right...? Wrong. Who ever said that it would be that easy?

Every school has its ups and downs. Even Aura Academy has its downs. And no matter how you look at it, Aura Academy has a huge diversity amongst its students. There’s still the popular people, the wannabes, the nerds, the rebels, and the losers. It’s high school. What did you expect?

The Majestics.
The student council. The true queens and kings. The rulers. The guardians. Graceful, perfect, controlling... that's what the student body sees the majestics as. Five people, the king, the queen, the ace, the jack, and the joker... the five majestics. They really do look like royalty, and they certainly act like it, too.

The Royals.
The jocks. The cheerleaders. The preps. Rich. Good-looking. Spoiled. They are the kids who seem to rule the school at first glance - and they make sure that the other students know that, too. Of course, they are under the majestics, but that does not stop them from acting as if they are the ones truly in control.

The Rebels.
The delinquents. The goths. The punks. The emos. The rockers. Hell’s uprising, they call them. Not exactly the most popular kids in school, yet still the most talked about. They’ve been known as the troublemakers of the school; the kids that go out and party all night and skip class all day.

The Uniques.
The wannabes. The nerds. The geeks. The art freaks. The Uniques are not a close-knit group; instead they branch out into different sections. The wannabes stray from the whole group, while the nerds, geeks, and art freaks seem to stay more together.

The Nobodies.
They’re the ones who don’t really belong. Or maybe they were just rejected, so they had no choice but to be a nobody. Believe it or not, some students actually choose to be nobodies, but not many. No matter what, though, the nobodies always stick together, through the good and the bad.
