Ash had traveled to this spot in the dead of night. She'd seen it before on her way over to the Academy. Not Nimbus no, Aura. Nimbus was gone, would it stay gone? How did the fire star... what made it get so out of control. How could so many people have died? There had been a lot of talk on the news and radio's so Ash had stopped watching them. They believed it was a student. But it was right. Even if one students power got out of control it wouldn't have gotten so out of control. There had to be more to it then that. A deeper reasoning.

She looked up at that moment and watched as a new snowfall began to fall. She took a seat beside the pond and hugged her knees up to her chest. grinning grimly as the snow that already caked the ground soaked her pants. But she didn't mind in these quiets when she was alone, she could let go of herself and be someone completely different. But she couldn't this time. This place was strange to her no matter how beautiful it seemed she couldn't give up Nimbus. She missed it so much. But missed the people she lost more of course. However Nimbus was more then just her school, it would have represented a place she could count on and now it was gone.

She began to get mad and stated breathing heavily. She stared at her breath for a moment then to the pond in the foreground picking up the nearest rocks she could find under all that snow and began chucking them at the nearly frozen pond. The thin sheet of ice that had been forming over the pond. But she stilled wasn't satisfied. She got up and kicked a nearby tree. And would have continued to abuse anything and everything in the vicinity were it not for the stupid punch she threw her whole body into, which had been directed at the tree trunk.

The pain that seared through her hand, up her arm and to her brain. "OH MY F***ING GAWD!" She shouted into the cold night. Tears made there way to her eyes as she cradled her frozen, nearly broken hand. "Stupid @$$hole...." She continued to cuss for sometime until she hear footsteps. The snow crunched the persons feet. She turned and went invisible. Wanting to know who was their before she let herself be seen.

"I thought I heard something...Hmmm..."

A voice echoed in the dark pit of the night, the voice going hand in hand with the sound of snow crunching between it's feet where ever it walked. Viktor looked around, using a small flame he had ignited in his palm to aid him in the darkness. Sure, the lanterns strewn about gave off enough light but not enough to see what was hidden.

Viktor shrugged lightly to himself and looked around once again. The place was rather empty save for some nocturnal animals that were hiding from the light and the human that invaded on it's territory, himself. He smiled lightly at the sound of a mouse scurrying through the snow and towards the pond. Without a care in the world, was what he saw the mouse as. Unlike him...with Nimbus gone now. A place he had come to grown accustomed to and love dearly...however did the rest believe this statement? No they didn't. He looked at the flame, controlled in his hand. It was this that made him a suspect...One of the accused...a scapegoat to relieve everyone's sorrow. He sighed to himself and shook his head, chuckling lightly. "What a hassle...but if I can relieve some sorrow over the vicitims of Nimbus...then whatever."

After he said this, he noticed a large dent in the pack of snow close towards the edge of the pond. Someone was here...the dent was deep and close to it where some footprints, left behind in the snow. He looked around, arousing his flame a bit and creating some more light. "Someone around here ? I know someone's around here so stop hiding." he asked to...what seemed to be the pitchblack darkness. His gut was turning at the idea of being watched by something he couldn't see...but something made it seem like it wasn't hostile. He would probably find out soon enough if the hidden one would respond...in any way.

"You... went to Nimbus" Ash's voice came out in a soft echo. Obviously she had been listening to the stranger speak out to no one. Not she was looking at or around him. In fact she had been in hiding. Knowing the her breath would give her location away for the weary lookout. She wanted the person to simply discover no one and move on.From her spot behind the tree she realized a light was coming from the male whose voice she'd been unable to place even while raking her brains for someone's, anyone she'd known back home. At first she thought he was a photo-kinetic... One of those kids able to manipulate light and such. She'd known a freshman with that ability but just barely. This person, this man sounded just that like a man. Bobby.... err Robert was the freshman's name but this guy he was someone different.

Her curiosity as well as her sense of caution made her slowly and as quietly as the snow would allow her to maneuver around the tree to get a better look at him. It was then she noticed the flame in his hand. She stared at it for a sharp moment and could almost hear that day replay in her head. Her breath became uneven and visible against the cold nights wind. Ash's defenses however were on high alert and wouldn't allow her body to become visible. Taking a moment to blink was all she needed shutting her eyes against the flame and look away. "Your that O'Donnell fellow huh? They asked about you" She said finding his face with help from his fire, trying hard to avoid direct eye-contact with the flames. "I think its ridiculous to believe any student from Nimbus would have an agenda like that. But... then again I would have bet against Nimbus ever burning to the ground so, i suppose the suspicion is understandable."

Ash wasn't aware of the defensiveness of her tone. But she looked him over, size him up and gather all information she could about him, through his appearance a luxury she was granted without an equal exchange, she came to one conclusion. "I might be wrong to say this, but i don't think you'd have done something like that" she said. Moving about the ground to give herself something to do.
