Not aware of What we're losing : "I met Tory our Freshman year and liked her right away. The first thing that attracted me to her, was the power she's embraced. It's the one power I would wish for, not that I don't love my own. So I did my best to get to know her and now she's the one person I'll confide in for anything. We do end up arguing some of the time though, mostly because of our common tempers. We have more of one of those love/hate bonds and I love it. Not aware of What we're losing : "I will admit that Tory isn't always my ideal friend. She has a back bone; I'll give her that much. However, I sometimes wonder if she's got a steel extrerior with a fluffy center; if you catch my drift. We have many similar or identical personality traits, and that serves to fuel our friendship. However, it sometimes causes us to bicker and fight, as well. Tory complements me, because she's not as judgemental as I am. She can sometimes be found smoothing over chaotic situations I've caused; or repairing someone's feeling I've hurt. I met Tory when we were younger. We were both beginners in a gymnastics class our parents had insisted we take. We were rivals at first, but soon warmed up to each other. Tory didn't stay in the class for long. She didn't like the class, for whatever reason, so she begged her mom to take her out of it. Somehow, we managed to remain friends after that. We even found common ground on both having unexplainable powers. Of course, my mother was ecstatic that Tory and I were friends. She was always encouraging me to associate with the 'right people', and I guess Tory and her family happened to be included in that tight circle that seemed to be a figment of my mother's imagination. So, even now, I still find myself gravitating toward Tory. We're not like sisters or anything, but we're close enough. We share similar enough backgrounds and personality traits that we have stayed pretty good friends throughout the years."
