For both of us, the library acts as our sanctuary and perhaps it was just coincidence that we met there and started talking, but I am certainely grateful that we did. I guess I get along so well with Gavin because we're both fairly shy and , well who can deny it, geeks..we did meet in the library after all. He makes me feel a lot more at ease than I normally do, and I suppose for this reason I have developed a small crush on him...not that I would ever have the guts to tell him that. Even if its just as friends, I am glad that I met Gavin here at Aura."

{{history: "I guess it's true that dating can sometimes ruin friendships. Gavin was one of my first friends at Aura. We had so much in common and got along so well, and I had a huge crush on him all through freshman year, and most of sophomore year. Everyone else thought it was inevitable that we would eventually become a couple, and when it finally happened, it wasn't what I expected. I mean, he wasn't a bad boyfriend or anything, it's just... something was missing, compatibility-wise. The first week or two was fine- it was my first relationship, and everything was all sunshine and rainbows, but then... it just got boring. We're too much alike to balance each other out. It wasn't long before the break-up. There aren't any hard feelings, but there's an awkwardness that still hasn't completely gone away since we broke up. I'm not sure if I regret going out with Gavin, but I miss our friendship.

It's not like we don't talk to each other, on the contrary really. Gavin and I talk about everything. If there's something bothering him, or if he has some news we talk about it, and vise versa. Gavin is a guy that I would trust no matter what."
