FALLING FROM THE SKIESFull Name: Phoebe Nikoleta Stavros
Nicknames: Pheebs; Peanut Butter (PB(pet name)); Bee
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Birthday: April 3rd
Astrological Sign: Aries
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Grade: Junior- 11th grade
Clique: Royals
School Activities: Cheerleading; Girls Soccer
Power: OmnipresenceSHINING OH SO BRIGHTLYPersonality Traits: - Expressive- Phoebe has always been expressive and while it is a good trait to have, it’s the part about her that causes tress for her and those around her. If Phoebe doesn’t like something, you’ll know. The same goes for the instances where she does like something. Because of this trait, Phoebe is known as a complainer by those around her.
- Determined- Despite her flaws and her history, Phoebe is actually quite determined. Little can deter her from her goals and she works hard for what she wants or wants to accomplish. It not only gives her a strong will but also provides her with a competitive attitude. She is a goal setter and uses her determination to accomplish those goals.
- Imaginative- Yep, you may not have guessed it but Phoebe is actually quite creative. She is able to present really great ideas and has a secret appreciation for art. While still young, Phoebe was a song writer of sorts. Now, her creativity is mostly being used to create cheers and to create game plans for sports.
- Optimistic- A glass half full type of person, Phoebe is the person on the team who tells the others yes they can. Her optimism makes her the go-to girl when you feel like something is impossible because like it has helped her over the years, she can use it to push people. She’s more for looking on the bright side which is surprising due to her being known as a complainer. While she may complain about everything else, she can ignore one’s faults or even turn them around to something positive. Mostly, this positivity only comes out in team settings like sports where Phoebe feels like she has to believe the best for the best to happen.
- Complicated- Obviously one of her most difficult traits. Phoebe does not have a clean cut personality, there are a number of contradictions in it that make her a bit difficult when first getting to know her. For example, those who know how positive and optimistic she can be but not how much of a whiner she is are in for a surprise. It can make her seem inconsistent even though she really isn’t. Also, part of this trait is her ability to be such of a insightful thinker.
General Personality: I’ve said it but I’ll say it again, I’ll even say it a few more times just to annoy you because Phoebe is a complex person. If you are one who really knows Phoebe, you’d know that she is pushed mainly by what people think of her as well as what her siblings do(especially her brother). However, if you are one of these people you’d also know that she is not consciously aware of these feelings and that it is best not to tell her of these observances. Phoebe’s relationship with friends is usually very close and if you’re one of her best friends its even closer. These guys know the real Phoebe, what ticks her off and what makes her happy. She’d share a burger with one, they know where she keeps her keys, and she treats her friends like her sisters. She is trusting of her friends too, she’d give them her locker combination or myspace password or let them bother something of hers overnight. To put it shortly, she has a very close relationship with her friends.
Phoebe likes competitive guys and usually this relates to other jocks. Naturally, people often misinterpret this as Phoebe being a very shallow girl who only dates within her own clique, or worse, only guys who are super jocks. This isn’t true of course and Phoebe has thought that some guys outside her clique were cute whether they were Uniques or Nobodies, it didn’t matter though because they didn’t have the qualities that she desired. What do you know? She isn’t as superficial as she seems; just picky, but everyone knows that! Competitiveness isn’t the only trait that she looks for either, she looks for guys that seem sweet and open minded too. Phoebe is one who flirts teasingly.
Most of Phoebe’s free time is spent outside, on the court, or on the field. She’s a feminine form of a super-jock and she isn’t too rugged considering either. I guess it helps to describe Phoebe on the field since that is where she spends most of her time. We’ve already established that on the field, Phoebe is competitive, determined, hard working and optimistic. She can be loosing 8-3 in a game with only five minutes left and still be confident to win. Another good trait that she displays on the field is her good sportsman ship. She doesn’t get mad at the other teams for beating her, sure she may complain but when doesn’t she? Instead, when Phoebe looses she is self critical blaming her team and herself. This side of the trait is not so good, it sometimes leads to Phoebe pushing herself too far or not so nicely telling others that they have to step up.
Phoebe is a person that isn’t always read too easily and many times your first impression of her can be quite different. She is confident and kind. She has quite a strong character and one day she may make a good boss since she is so meticulous with what she wants. Phoebe is an attention chaser, and a lot of the things he does are for attention. It is not to say that she’d do anything for attention but most think its close enough. Even so, she only desires positive attention and doesn’t want anyone talking bad about her. She is not very materialistic but can be rather sentimental over gifts. Also, off of the field she can seem wholly different. When off of the field Phoebe is a lot more delicate and feminine. In more ways in one, she is a tomboy on the exterior and a girlie girl on the interior and at other times vice versa. Phoebe likes people of various cliques but only those that she can tolerate or relate with. She tends to not like uniques because where she believes she failed (in art and songwriting), they tend to excel. However, if a unique is persistent enough she can really get to like them. She is also a little too eager to befriend a majestic. Almost everyone knows of her aspirations to be a majestic, not because she has told anyone but because it is painfully obvious. Even so, Phoebe handles high school like a normal teenage girl…minus the ability to be “everywhere”.
Phoebe is very courageous and although she doesn’t go “looking for trouble” she would make quite the adventurous. The problem is she is not very curious. Most of the time, Phoebe is mostly concerned with things affecting herself. She does not consider herself self centered but she kind of is. Like an adventurer though, she is very observant and reflective. She just may not always “reflect” on things that matter, that’s a problem due to her prioritization issues. In fact, instead of doing homework, she may go play outside and she really needs to gain some responsibility. While she has outgrown her screaming until she is made happy stage, she hasn’t grown into independence even though she thinks that she has.
Phoebe is not the most adjusted with her powers at Aura Academy but she can still use them quite well. Because of this, Phoebe does like her ability simply because she has gained a bit of control over it. Then of course, powers make a person special and different and amazing. With her abilities Phoebe can be everywhere imaginable at once while her physical body doesn’t even have to move. Its an awesome power that makes her feel like one of the al knowing gods. She also does not like her particular power, first off, there are just things that she’d rather not see. Then another reason that Phoebe doesn’t like her ability is well… because with it she’s not the center of attention. With her abilities, she can watch millions of people who don’t even know she exists. When a person is as attention seeking as Phoebe, nothing makes them feel smaller than being ignored in such a way because of course- she can see you but you can’t see her. She feels as if her abilities were the short end of the stick, like she grabbed the shortest straw from a bunch. Sometimes she truly wishes for a different power thinking, ‘why couldn’t I shoot fireworks from my hand or multiply into a million Pheebs?’

FLITTING JUST LIKE FIREFLIES
Height & Weight: 5’7” & 125lbs.
Piercing/Tattoos: Phoebe’s ears are both pierced but she wants no more than that. She’s imagined having a tattoo but is not likely to get one.

Appearance: Decently good looks are nothing foreign to the Stavros family and Phoebe is no different. Phoebe, however, likes to put emphasis on her attributes and hide her flaws while for some, they are just there. Phoebe is at an average height but appears to be taller because of her build and posture; she is at five feet seven inches when standing erect. Most people notice her height, simply because she has really good posture. Phoebe rarely slouches and because of it she looks taller and thinner as well as looking more confident, healthier, and more alert. Although Phoebe is not conceited enough to say or even believe it, she has heard people joke about how she is as sexy as Aphrodite herself. Such a statement was due to Phoebe’s confidence in her looks more than her looks themselves. Again, her looks are pretty but average, it’s the way that she carries herself that people find most attractive about her.
Phoebe’s build is quite thin but not at all lanky. Throughout her body, Phoebe has a number of various curves that compliment and add to her figure. Her breast are not too large and are proportionate with the rest of her body. Phoebe’s limbs aren’t thin either and she has some muscularity as well. While she won’t be lifting any desk anytime soon, she can at least stand without being blown by the wind. Her healthiness shows in her build as well as her skin; she’s not anorexic nor is she turning purple. On a normal day, Phoebe will not have much to worry about in the skin department because her own skin is smooth and clear. Her skin does not usually have a lot of blemishes and most scars are hard to see, or cleverly hidden. Furthermore, Phoebe tans easily but does not sun burn often, this results in an Olive, or light golden, skin tone. All of the time she spends outside does sometimes lead to sunburned, irritated skin but most of the time she is okay.
One of many faces, Phoebe has a number of very different expressions, all of which clearly express what she is thinking. Phoebe would be a terrible Poker player and she knows it. Everything contributes in showing her emotions her eyes, lips, eyebrows, and nose. Like most of Phoebe’s other attributes, her eyes are average, in fact they are rather basic. Almond shaped and brown, her eyes couldn’t be any more standard and the actual variation of browns within her eyes isn’t very visible unless up close. Despite the standard ness of her eyes, Phoebe’s eyes work just fine. Phoebe’s vision is 20/20, leaving her no need for glasses or contacts and it is something that she is quite happy about. She’d always wondered what she’d look like if she was a four eyes but had never been able to imagine it, she hopes to maintain her good eyesight so that she would not have to rely on anything to see. If Phoebe were to look at you, she’d be another girl looking at you, her personality will show through her eyes but that’s about it. Her gaze isn’t piercing and looking right through your soul, nor is it sparkling or awkward; Phoebe’s gaze is just an unspectacular, common yet calming look. The rest of Phoebe’s facial features are round but thin; her lips are full and her nose is small, round, and cute. Usually her hairstyles o not distract from her face, and she never wears her hair over her eyes or anything of the sort. Ponytails and buns are Phoebe’s most common hairstyles when she isn’t letting it just rest on her shoulders. Phoebe has long hair that is long enough to actually hang past her shoulder. Her hair is naturally curly and her hair and eyebrows are brown in color.
The type of clothing that Phoebe wears is quite varied. There is no definite piece of clothing or style that she constantly wears. What she wears depends on what she plans to do that day and what she feels like. Even so, she assembles her clothing in a presentable way so that nothing looks as if it were just slapped on. Phoebe will wear anything from sweats to designer jeans but fashion does not really matter to her. Most of her clothing is blue or purple, she rarely wears pink because most shades of pink make her sick. Her shoes are just as varied as her clothing but she has special shoes for special occasions and will often simply wear athletic shoes(running, tennis, sneakers, etc.).SHOWING THE WAY TO HEAVEN
Family Members: - Silas Stavros, 43, father, civil engineer
- Anna Stavros, 40, mother, on unemployment
- Evander Stavros, 17, older brother, student at Aura Academy
- [???~???], 16, younger sister, student at Aura Academy
Pet(s): Apollo, the puppy that she received as a Christmas present due to her still persistent desire of a puppy, sparked by her older brother.
Financial Status: Fairly Wealthy/ Upper- Middle Class
History: A man named Silas Stavros met a woman named Anna and their love resulted in an anointment. Following their marriage came three very special, very magical children.
Phoebe Stavros was born the second child to Anna and Silas. Her birth followed her older brother’s by a year and two months and she wasn’t exactly what her family had hoped for. Even though the couple didn’t expect another quiet child like their first child, they didn’t expect a child like Phoebe either- who at the time was so different. Phoebe was a bit of a handful during her infancy but she was quite easy to love and her crying was tolerated. During these early years, the slightest things could make Phoebe cry and the smallest things could satisfy her. Phoebe was a intelligent baby and learned everything sooner than average. She learned how to walk at an early age, began walking early on, and was promptly potty trained. All was not so simple for Anna and Silas though because although Phoebe knew how to do these things, she would not. Instead she’d continue to crawl and use pampers, refusing to do anything other. Although difficult at first, Silas and Anna soon got the hang of raising their daughter Phoebe, but by that time their second daughter was born.
The Stavros couple was rather happy with their three little children, in fact, they could not love their bunch more. They were proud of their children and imagined bright futures for them. It seemed like their children were getting along with each other as siblings normally would when so close in age. Sometimes they’d all get along, others two would be mad at another, and sometimes they’d all be mad at each other. What they argued about varied but was never serious. Some arguments were on one person cheating during a game or being the best character when role playing from a book that had been read to them. The children even survived Phoebe’s short lived biting stage which although brief was quite a pain. One of the worst incidents the Stavros children have had was on Phoebe’s brother’s birthday while Phoebe was just four. She was young and had little control over her sweet tooth which resulted in her angering her brother by eating his birthday cake. Phoebe was sorry and drew him a picture as an apology. While her parents were away, Phoebe saw it as an opportunity to present her brother with the present. She descended the stairs only to see the cake restored to its entirety and although her brother could not or did not explain it, Phoebe was sure that it was the work of magic. Truth be told, Phoebe looked up to her brother and when she began to think that he could do magic she adored him and insisted he play with her more and show her his tricks. This is probably why Phoebe had become such a nuisance to her older brother.
Phoebe entered the primary education level at the age of five. While Phoebe still very much looked up to her brother, it was during these years that she felt like she was really wrestling for attention. Being a middle child is never easy when seeking attention, especially when you are an attention craver like Phoebe. At this age, Phoebe felt as if she was getting none of the attention from her parents and other adults. Her younger sister seemed to get most of the attention just because she was younger, and her older brother seemed to get more attention because he was the perfect child. Entering school, the teachers had all had Evander as a student before Phoebe and because of it, she’d always hear of his accomplishments despite what she had managed to do. It was frustrating, it made Phoebe feel small, and it made her want to outdo not just her brother but anyone. Her motive in academics was not the honor roll or an actual interest in the subject but instead to be recognized for her own accomplishments. This competitiveness led to sports and because of it, Phoebe soon became quite the athlete. It was better, it provided her with her desired attention, it allowed her to have fun without reliance on her siblings, it challenged her. Evander, by now had gotten annoyed with her and had stopped playing games and sports with her and her sister so it also acted as her primary source of entertainment. What could have been more fitting for anyone like Phoebe?
The years to follow went quite decently for Phoebe, she was more or less from under her brother’s shadow and people liked her for her. The only thing that still bothered Phoebe about her brother was that there was still something special about him. Although now older and not believing in magic as much, she still wondered how her brother was able to do those tricks. While not obsessed with it, she still wondered, wanted to know. That’s a tad bit ahead of our time line but this is where it starts, Phoebe as an eight year old. It was at this young age of eight that Phoebe began to ‘lose control’ over her dreams. Instead of dreaming her typical dreams of puppies, guinea pigs, and sports she began to dream of completely different things in different parts of the world. Well, they seemed random to her: women eating in a restaurant, concerts, parties. Her dreams seemed so real too, almost as if she were there. Phoebe was nine years old when she and her family took a trip to Paris to see the sights. It was here that Phoebe would learn just how special she was. One night in Paris, while Phoebe was sleeping, streets surrounding the Lovure Museum were being blockaded. Although Phoebe did not quite know why, she saw it taking course in her dreams. Thus, when everyone woke up the next morning, intending to go to the museum, she knew that they would not. Phoebe tried to tell them that she didn’t think they would be able to, but who listens to a nine year old in a foreign land? It came as quite a surprise when Phoebe was right and she began to think that she could see the future.
With the passing of time, she found that her powers were not clairvoyant in nature but that she was actually viewing the events as they happened, almost as if she were there. As the years progressed on, Phoebe tried to harness and understand her skills better. She was now able to merely concentrate to be omnipresent instead of having to be asleep. She’s also learned techniques of focusing on specific places and having a better understanding of where she is and what she is seeing. After all, seeing the entire world at once can be overwhelming for a human mind to take. When her brother went to Aura Academy, Phoebe did miss him even though they were not really getting along at the time. In her sleep, in the we hours of the morning, Phoebe was able to see her brother doing his homework or at noon she would see him fast asleep. The school that he was attending was amazing.
Months later, Phoebe got that letter that she was hoping for, inviting her to Aura Academy. It was an odd feeling in the pit of her stomach, butterflies, that’s what she felt. The feeling lasted up until she was on the plane to America. In the plane ride alone she lost a day, almost as if she were going back in time. This was cool and she was psyched to get to travel to America, however, by the time she was on the train, she began to regret her coming there. What would happen when she got there? Would she be known as Evander’s little sister again? Phoebe feared that she would be just another Stavros, even in America. Surely enough, when she made it to the school and was on a tour, all she heard were things about her brother; he was an excellent student, an interesting kid. She was in his shadow again, Phoebe thought that it would be hopeless, impossible to be compared with him. Her perspective changed when she discovered the different clique statuses throughout the school. Ever since Phoebe has heard about the Majestics, she has aspired to be one, to be important. It is now her junior year and she hasn’t yet made it in but she is a royal. Phoebe takes this position quite seriously and will do things against her character to regain it. At first she was happy with being noticed as Phoebe and not Evander’s younger sister (some may not even know that they are related) but Evander disapproved of her desire for popularity. OH, AND FOR JUST YOU AND I

| QUOTE ( Technopath@ TVR) |
It was a chilly January day at Strayfard and being so close to the lake did not help. The student gathering was appreciated by most of the student body as most of them did not like the cold weather of Chicago. Those used to the Chicago didn’t mind the cold but the student gathering was a get out of class free card. It was determined that the Underground’s areas were smaller than they thought and both the faculty and the students had to go through measures to accommodate the various people. As the numerous Students of Strayfard Institution filed into the underground via the stairwells, the faculty sorted them into groups.
The underground, although stuffy when trying to hold all of Strayfard’s students had quite a spacious hallway leading to a number of different rooms. The students watched as their headmaster walked from a room on the far end of the hall and firmly closed the door behind him. He looked up to see more or less the entire student body staring back at him, his eye brows raised, then lowered as a smile came onto his face.
“Of course! Today is Tuesday. The tour…oh right the tour!” The absentminded professor pushed his palm to his forehead, in turn, knocking his glasses from his face. The man bent over to pick them up before adjusting the crooked frame onto his face. The younger students snickered as did many of the older students. Dr. Peterson stood before his students as if contemplating for several seconds before walking closer toward them.
“Alriiight! How do you like the underground so far?” Doctor Peterson asked as he tried to get on level with his students. Some of the older kids whooped sarcastically and others snickered at his attempt to stir them. Dr. Peterson was prepared for this reaction though. The man straightened his posture as he nodded his head and with a smile turned his back on them.
“To our immediate left is what I call, ‘the crash lab’. It’s a lab dedicated to our studies on mutation. While no students will be allowed inside without a faculty member present, students will actually be able to conduct their own experiments on the mutant gene. Now, to my right is…a lobby area…I guess. It’s like the room behind the one way glass of an interrogation room. From in it you can view everything that occurs in the next three rooms. These three rooms are what we will be visiting today. As you can see, all of these areas are going under some last minute construction but don’t worry because it will all be finished soon.”
The Institution’s additions did indeed catch the attention of many of the students. Some of the older kids were explaining the more complicated details to the younger ones but most seemed to be quite intrigued. The doctor wheeled around on the heel of his shoe to face his audience and a grin was still on his face.
“Look it,” he began as he shook his arm behind him, pointing to the rooms,” These three rooms are filled with extremely expensive technology. This technology is not only used to measure you abilities but can help you harness them. About five people can fit per room and for today’s quick demonstration we will do just that. Now, have you been broken up into groups?”
Not wanting to interrupt him, when it seemed like something interesting was going to begin, the students who responded to him just nodded. Patrick took their responses as that of the entire group and continued on.
“Perfect! This will be your way of getting acquainted with the machinery inside as well as our chance to test the systems and machinery to fit each of your needs.”
A small spark sputtered from a nearby vent and instead of disappearing like a normal spark would, it fell onto the ground and began to grow. Soon, a brown haired, green eyed boy was staring Dr. Peterson in the eye. The professor just sighed as he helped the student up.
“Blake, it appears you are an odd number. I will try to find you someone to go with though. By the way, you missed the tour.” Doctor Peterson clapped his hands and with the use of his abilities was sure that his clap was heard by all. The students left fell silent and all eyes turned to him and Blake.
“Is there any student that has not been sorted or is willing to join this young boy in a session?” Doctor Peterson expected someone to speak up, even if a student already went he figured they may decide to go for a second time. |
