Charlotte Peyton, better known as Charli, is not someone who can be summed up in a few words. She is unique - that's for certain - and she is one who involuntary stands out of the crowd. Charli is different. She always has been and always will be. She is a very intelligent young lady and through her primary school days she was teased for this, her peers giving her names such as "teacher's pet" and "geek" and so on, so forth. However, Charli's forgiving nature and loyalty saw past this bully and she did not retaliate in anyway. Charli simply loves to learn. She loves reading and learning languages, yet she did not ever comtemplate that her talent for interpretng languages could be due to a magical ability.
In that sense, Charli is extremley naive. She works by the theory that there is always some kind of good in absolutley anyone and she is always on the side for justice. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, however Charli's naivety makes her rather vunerable to some. However, Charli does not trust people easily while many people trust her. Her friends come to her because Charli is an understanding and caring person, yet she finds it difficult to open up about herself to almost anyone.
Charli some rather annoying habits. One is, that when she gets started on a topic she feels passionatley about, she rambles and doesn't stop until her point is very much across. While this was very much a prominent trait when Charli was living in Australia, she has come to realise that in America more people listen to her, if not only to hear her unique Aussie accent in the northern hemisphere! Charli is a very passionate person and she believes strongly in animal rights - hence her vegetarianism - care for the environment, woman's rights etc. Some could say she is a "greenie" or a "hippie" but Charli puts it all down to believing in what is right.

Charli is not unusual in her height or weight. She is of an average size for her age although some would say she is too skinny, although she is inclined to disagree with this. She does not have an athletic body in any sense as she is not a sporty person, rather she was just lucky enough to achieve a figure many girls of her stature would aim for. However, Charli's figure is rather awkward in the sense that she has long legs in comparison to her short torso. She has a considerably small bust size that doesn't concern her in any way and also rather un-muscular upper arms.
That being said, Charli does not take much pride in her looks. She is far from unfortunate looking, however she is more concerned with her education. Charli has a round and youthful face with almond shaped hazel-green eyes. She has a small button nose that is adorned in a pale array of light brown freckles. Charli has pale pink lips that when parted to make a smile reveal her reletivley even teeth that were achieved purely by the fact she was cursed with braces in her younger teenage years.
Charli has long, dark blonde hair that is occasionally complemented with lighter blonde streaks throughout it. Charli is normally seen with her hair tied back in a messy and unco-ordinated pony tail. Charli also has a very unique dress sense. She is not one to get overly dressed up with tons of makeup upon her face unless the occasion is deemed important enough in her view. She is typically seen wearing dark jeans or trackies of some kind with a tee-shirt in some shade of green, blue, purple or grey. Her all time favorite shoes are most definitley her Converse Chuck Taylor shoes in either black, green or purple.

Charli's life could be one of a novel, however she doesn't believe this as novels typically have some kind of a happy ending where families are reunited and everyone lives happily ever after. She can't see this happening to her life.
Charlotte Elisabeth Peyton was born into the loving arms of Elisabeth and William Peyton on the twenty-second of October. An inter-national marriage between English man William and French woman Elisabeth caused controversy within the Peyton and Beauvais families however love guided the two to an oblivious happiness achieved after they were united. Happily they lived in a small town outside of Melbourne, Australia for the first three years of Charli's life. It seemed that Charli's life had developed an uncanny sense of perfection, up until the day of her father's death.
Tragedy strikes the most undeserving people, as Elisabeth and Charlotte found out on that unforeseen day. William was killed in a train crash after travelling back from London one day. Charli, only been three at the time, did not understand why her daddy wasn't coming home or why her mummy couldn't stop crying.
Everything went wrong after that. Elisabeth became midly depressed in the following years and Charli was increasinly ignored by her mother. Charli turned to books and literature as her escape from the complicated world. As she entered primary school, Charli was always different from her peers and she never understood why. She struggled to make friends although she did communicate within the classroom. She instantly developed a great appreciation for English as she progressed through primary school and became excelling at learning French. Of course, Charli had been introduced to the French language at birth as her mother spoke it frequently, however, the rate that she learned it at school came as a huge surprise for her teachers. By age eleven as she prepared to enter high school, Charli could already speak French fluently and was in the process of learning Italian, Bulgarian and German. Her mother was intrigued by her daughter's gift and Elisabeth became interested in Charli once again.
After doing some research through her field of work as a journalist, Elisabeth heard of a school in New York, America where gifted children attended. Not knowing the full extent to the definition of gifted, Elisabeth gained contact to this school and they sparked an interest in Charli.
Charli was accepted into Aura Academy where her gift of languages could truly be appreciated and hence, she came to America, by herself as her mother was not up to leaving Australia, and Charli began a new life in hope to resolve her complex past.

That was it. Madeleine was officially lost. Being new to the school and having appalling navigational skills, this was becoming quite a bad habit for Madeleine. In two days, Madeleine had lost her way to the French classrooms, her Maths lesson and even to the library despite following the same course she had taken the day before. Now, at lunch time, Madeleine was supposed to be meeting her half-brother Peter for lunch, but had lost her way trying to follow his directions to where he sits at lunch. Madeleine had, however, managed to pinpoint her location to somewhere outside the main buildings. At least she could rest assured that she was not in an out of bounds area as there were many other students moving in groups to sit, talk and eat there lunch out here. Annoyingly enough, they were all situated in their assigned friendship groups and were clearly not lost unlike poor Madeleine.
Sighing to herself, Madeleine chose to sit down and eat lunch by herself, it had worked for the past few days when Peter was absent. She found a rather large and isolated tree that was out of the way from the other students chatterings and she plnoked herself down, her green and white bag falling into a floppy pile beside her. Madeleine wiped some unknown marks off her pale demin jeans and made herself comfortable on the grass, the tree's trunk serving as a nice back rest for her. She reached into her bag, at first aiming for lunch, but instead changing her mind and pulling out a book she was halfway through. Madeleine thought to herself as she put her head down and began reading, it was fine to be lost in a good book, just not at her new school.
