Melanie Hart - December 6, 2007 04:07 AM (GMT)
Mel walked through the halways of Aura. It was five in the morning, and raining. Nothing was more comforting to her. It was freezing out side, perfect for training. Mel ran her fingers along the cold stone of the walls, every so often little sparks flickering from her fingers. She smiled as she felt the the electric currents running through her system. As she neared the doors to the football field, she took in the beatiful sight of the electricity flashing in the sky. She smiled and open the doors. An immediate rush of rain splattered her face and her body instantly became soaked. Most people would wonder what the hell she was doing on the football field at five in the morning in the middle of a rain storm. Firstly, waking up early means less people to deal with, second, the football field was bigger than the soccer field and she wanted to run to build up her stamina. And why in the rain, well it doesn't take a genius to guess that.

As Melanie took her start at the field goal, she felt the currents running through her viens. It felt so empowering, like an overdose of adrineline. After pulling her hair back into a messy bun, she started jogging around the enormous field. Lightning struck, exciting her even more. She felt her arms start to tingle and looked down. Around her wrists and up her jacket sleeves were blue and white sparks. She could see the fabric starting to burn.

"Damn, I just bought this jacket....."

She continued to run faster feeling the electric currents becoming stronger. Mel knew if she went on too long, she would burn all her clothes off and be standing naked in the rain, but it felt so good. Like a drug you couldn't stop taking. Who would think this power could be so addicting? The feeling of electricity running through your arms and legs. Feeling it bottled up inside your abdomen waiting to burst out. It took every bit of restraint for Mel not to send an electric blast into the middle of the field to release all the pent up energy. She balled her fists as she began to feel her muscles burning, begging her to stop running, but she kept on. She hadn't trained since the begining of summer, she needed this.

After an hour of running, Mel decided that she didn't want to kill herself. She picked up her forgotten gym bag that she dropped somewhere in between entering the field and starting her murderous 'jog'. She practically dragged herself into the locker rooms and dropped her bag. Standing there soaking soaking wet, from rain and sweat, she started to peel off her clothes. She stood there in her shorts and tank and took her hair down. She stumlbed into the showers, not botherng to take all her clothes off, and turned on the steaming hot water.
