    Pop! Pop! Pop!

That was the sound of Amelia making bubbles with her pink bubble gum over and over again due to complete boredom. She found herself bored a lot these days, no one seemed to be around anymore. It was like everyone disappeared, or at least as far as she could tell. Amelia gave her gum another loud pop, and listened as it echoed through the empty room she was in. She was supposed to be tutoring someone in Algebra but they hadn't showed up yet. Amelia didn't know who the person was, but she was already beginning to dislike them. She had been lying on the stage for twenty minutes for the mystery person, and still he or she insisted on having her wait. Why on Earth was she tutoring at the stage anyways? She knew Ms.Finney didn't have her own classroom, because as she claims "new teachers don't get any". HA! Everyone knew the real reason Ms.Finney didn't have her own room was because, she couldn't actually teach. Being new at this was no excuse, she was simply a terrible teacher. All of her students were being tutored by higher math levels. Amelia was tutoring and being tutored.

Amelia sighed and ran her hands through her hair. She felt the cold stage beneath her fingers, and let her hand rest there for a moment. Her eyes remained closed and she silently counted fifteen seconds. After one last breath, Amelia took a look at her watch and decided if "Person B" didn't show up soon, she would be leaving. She didn't really need the extra credit, her math grade wasn't that bad. Generally she was a very good student, but mathematics didn't deserve to qualify for academics. It deserved its own category. Amelia could feel her face expressing her disgust as she thought of Ms. Finney asking her "Isn't math fun?". That bitch. What did she know about math? So she had a degree and went to Yale and was "educated", it didn't mean she was smart. Clearly she wasn't all that and a bag of chips, or Lia wouldn't be here waiting for a non person to arrive.

Your thoughts could take you away and make you forget what exactly you were doing. Amelia somehow managed to get very sleepy waiting there for Person B, she was fighting to keep her eyes closed. She yawned wondering why she hadn't gotten up to leave yet. "Because I want those twenty points that's why," she mumbled to herself before pinching herself to stay awake. She tried tapping her foot, to distract herself from slumber, but all that did was annoy her and cause her flip flop to fly to the other side of the room. She was too lazy to go get it, plus she didn't like them that much. Finally before she knew it Amelia was half asleep and barely aware of her surroundings, she'd even forgotten all about Person B.

Night Varley - November 29, 2007 10:27 PM (GMT)
    SWISH!

Night ducked in the nick of time. She had come hear to be tutored. She didn't know who her tutor was, but hell, they were probably the one who threw the damned shoe.

"Hey!" Night squealed indignantly. She looked down at where the flip flop had landed. It was pink with some ugly sequins. She snorted from laughter, and looked up at the stage.

There was Amelia Stavros. Night rolled her eyes and sighed. Why oh why do I have to deal with a royal? And how the hell is she smart enough to tutor some one? Night thought as she saw the slumbering girl. She rolled her eyes again and made her way to the stage.

"Hey, Stavros. Wake the hell up. You are supposed to be tutoring me..." Night said loudly shaking the girl before her. It was a pleasing sight. Amelia looked like shit. Her hair was strung about in awkward angles, and with her missing flip flop she looked like a rich hobo. Why didn't she bring her camera?

Night sat up on the stage, and got out her math book. She hated math. The whole concept was so stupid! Why would anyone willingly do math, unless prompted with a horrible form of torture? Night shook her head in bewilderment. She found the page they were supposed to be studying from, and looked back at Stavros.

Amelia Stavros - November 29, 2007 10:49 PM (GMT)
Amelia smiled to herself, as she recalled her favorite episode of Friends. It was the one where Phoebe and Chandler both try to "seduce" each other. She was almost laughing in her sleep, God she loved that show.

"Hey, Stavros. Wake the hell up. You are supposed to be tutoring me..."Wait. That wasn't how it went, Joey was supposed to hate keeping so many secrets. Amelia chose to ignore the annoying voice calling out to her. If Person B wanted to be late and make her wait than they could wait to. Honestly Amelia needed to buy more DVDs it was no fun, just remembering your favorite shows. Why oh why did Friends have to have a Finale? With a final sigh Amelia slowly opened her brown eyes and pursed her lips."Finally." she said without looking up at the very rude female I might add, who had just addressed her. She pulled her hair and held it in a ponytail, then slowly rose. Her brown eyes suddenly found themselves at the back of Amelia's head. Night Varley? This would be pleasant. She quickly ran her fingers through her hair and released it allowing to fall back around her shoulders. Finally she forced a grin.

"Night...I'm tutoring you?"It was so apparent that she was forcing the chipper sound in her voice, that if Night didn't realize this it would be very sad indeed. "Well that should be...". Amelia searched for a word in her head."A fucking disaster." she finally said in Greek, still wearing that horribly sweet and fake smile. "Come." she said in a very automatic and robotic voice. She patted the spot on the stage next to her. "Sit down." She was no longer smiling, because she decided that it was kind of creepy. Why pretend? Night knew Amelia didn't like her much, and Amelia knew Night felt the same. "Night. That's so uncreative, isn't her power Night vision?" Amelia scanned the younger girl and sighed. "Parents huh?" she smiled at Night. Well it's not as if they knew that would be her power.

    Green equals Greek

Night Varley - November 30, 2007 01:29 AM (GMT)
"Finally." Night just about left. If she was going to be a stuck up bitch, then Night didn't need to waste her fucking time with her. "If you are going to be a bitch then I'll just leave. I would do okay with a F. Plus it isn't like you are never late to class." Night said her thoughts aloud. God this girl seriously had a large head. It needed to be deflated, and Night would love to do that. Night smiled evilly at that thought.

When Amelia sat up, Night could tell that she wasn't welcome. If she wasn't happy tutoring her, what made her think that Night was happy about it too?

"Night...I'm tutoring you?" Night about smacked herslef. Some of these royals needed her head checked. She also didn't know why Ms. Finney didn't inform the tutor of who there person was.

"Sadly yes." Night said quietly. She haded the fact that she didn't know much about math, for it was her worst subject.

"Well that should be..." Even though she was a unique, Night often felt that she should be a royal. She didn't have very many friends because of her feelings towards the more popular groups. She felt left out and sheltered most of the time. When she heard Stavros finish her sentence in Greek, she felt left out like usual. Night knew that it was something bad about her.

"Come." "Sit down." There she was doing that again. Stavros had this weird idea in her head that Night was some kind of lap dog, and she was not. This heightened Night's already raising anger.

"I am not a dog!" Night said exasperated. But she did as Stavros told her, she wasn't in the mood to fight. She had to take a walk later to work on her night vision.

"Parents huh?" Night sighed. She always got this from the more, unappreciative populars. Her name was given by her parents. It had a grave meaning in her family and Night honored that.

Night nodded in response. She looked down willing herself not to cry. She shed one tear, which landed on her text book. She sniffed quietly and cleared her throat.

After composing herself she said weakly, "Shall we begin torture?"

Amelia Stavros - November 30, 2007 01:46 AM (GMT)
Amelia made an overly dramatic face."Well," she said quietly and defensively. "There is no reason to go around name calling." She sort of frowned at Night for a while, then resorted to rolling her eyes and reaching for the text book behind her. Although she was a Freshman just last year, she was beginning to understand some hated them so much. Especially the girls, they were so defensive, and so dramatic. It was really annoying, its like they wanted to fight someone all the time. They're always going around calling someone a bitch, its like they just discovered curse words and couldn't wait to use them. Honestly step into Freshman classroom and you'll here more curse words than you knew existed.

There she was again, getting defensive when Amelia was nothing but sweet. Sure the tone was fake, but it was the thought that counted. All Amelia could do was sigh, it wasn't her fault Night was so immature, and probably PMSing at the moment. "I don't recall ever calling you a dog," Amelia responded calmly. Doesn't mean I don't think you are one. Torture. Amelia allowed a small laugh to escape her mouth at the word. It wasn't going to be that bad. Amelia's only problem with Night, was her ridiculous assumptions about the type of person that she was, which of course were all bad. Just because she was a Royal. Funny thing about AA, Amelia didn't know any bitchy Royals, except maybe Ashlynn. It was the other kids who were always so quick to judge, so bitter, mean, and yea that French girl...kind of a slut.

"Please stop being so dramatic," Amelia said with sincere playfulness. "I honestly doubt it will be that bad you sound like my brother," Amelia grabbed her plain brown flip flop and slipped back onto her foot. "Ew. Who's is that?" she asked pointing to the other one. Eh. Whatever. So what exactly are you having trouble with? Ms. Finney says you're on chapter five...correct?"She began flipping through the book to chapter five, matrices. Those were so easy.

Night Varley - November 30, 2007 01:57 AM (GMT)
"Well, There is no reason to go around name calling." Night actually felt bad about that. Normally she didn't cuss this much, but today she was having a bad day. "I am sorry. I am having a really bad day today. I just..." Night stopped not knowing how to end the sentence she just let it hang.

"I don't recall ever calling you a dog," Night knew that it was just the tone that made her think that is what the intent was. She voiced that. "I am aware you did not say that. It was the tone that made it sound as if you were implying it. Also that is how you always talk to me. That is how all of your group talk to me...Night didn't mean to sound melodramatic, but that was how it was for her. She was always talked down to like that.

"Please stop being so dramatic," Night heard the playful tone, so let it slide. "I honestly doubt it will be that bad you sound like my brother," Night smiled. Evander was pretty cute. He was a nobody, but he should have been the King.

"Eh. Whatever. So what exactly are you having trouble with? Ms. Finney says you're on chapter five...correct?" Night nodded.

"Well I am having trouble understanding it. The way it is arranged and everything just throws me off. I just hate that it is all....well it is just really confusing, and Ms. Finney is a really bad teacher." Night ended that with a smile. It was true Ms. Finney was a horrible teacher.

Amelia Stavros - November 30, 2007 09:16 PM (GMT)
    A bad day huh?

That was everyone's excuse for acting the way Night did. There was a word for people like this it went something like:bitch. Her brown eyes squinted in suspicion as she eyed the younger girl, and slowly she nodded her head. "Riiigghhttt..." she finally said slowly. "A bad day..."Amelia sighed. She made it a point to avoid Night, so she didn't see how Night could feel like she treated her to a dog. She once compared her to one, but it was only an analogy. Actually she'd never said that out loud so she didn't know how Ms. Night Vision knew. "Care to elaborate on this little theory of yours?" she asked looking Night in the eye. Amelia wanted to hear this, it would probably be the only interesting thing Night would have to say all day. She really hated it when people tried to make lame excuses for their actions, even if she did it all the time. But aren't we all just big hypocrites when it comes to these things? Well Amelia was...so there.

Amelia frowned. What was Night smiling at so creepishly? She spun her head around the room...there was no one else there. "Uh...something funny?" she asked. Amelia laughed at herself for missing such an obvious one. "Oh I see." she nodded with a playful smile. This one was usually reserved for friends, or people that she actually enjoyed talking to. This would be interesting too. "Does someone perhaps have a little crush on a certain Senior?" She wiggled her eyebrows at Night to let her know she was only teasing. "Aww...I'm gonna tell him..."she laughed. No she wouldn't she didn't see the point, and she wasn't sure if Night would even care. But hey, teasing was fun enough, and math...well math was not. Neither of them really wanted to be there, but they were only because they have to be. It didn't mean either of them actually planned on studying anything, other than gossip. Even if they did hate each other, strange how the minds of some girls worked.

"Ms. Finney is a bad teacher, next semester I'm switching to Mr.Brown's class. As your official tutor I advise you to do the same." She whispered to Night. "But uh...don't tell Finney I said that." she gave a small laugh before finally taking a look at an example from the book.
