| It wasn't hard to tell that Jamey wasn't in a very good mood. He had been lying in his bed staring at floor for the past hour, looking up at his dorm every few seconds makings sure that no one walked in. Human contact was something eh didn't feel like making at the moment. He was lying on his stomach at the end of his bed, his chin lying on the inset of one of his textbooks. His eyes were giving off one of "talk and die" looks that would likely ward off any unwanted guests. Homework had never really made Jamey feel bad in any way, but today was different. He was supposed to writing 3 pages on the uses of sunspoor in Potions, but he wasn't. Why? Because he was in the middle of a fight with one of his best friends. They were arguing over whether use of the Unforgivables was relevant in a life threatening situation. Jamey said no, they were never relevant. His friend on the other hand believed that if the situation was dangerous enough, use of them was acceptable. This argument boiled out after class and it ended Patrick getting offended. Jamey had been trying to think of what he had said that offended his friend so much, but it just wouldn't come to him. Before coming into the dorm room, Jamey had managed to put a sign on the door: Warning: Irritated teenager inside Yes, it was slightly childish to put up signs, but he he wasn't the mood for people to come bounding in and asking stupid questions at the moment. Pulling a wand on someone was something that Jamey was not above doing, even though he knew he would never really curse someone just because ignored his stupid sign. He also knew that when someone asked if he was okay, they were just trying to help, but Jamey was stubborn, so it would probably take him pulling a wand on the wrong person and getting hexed for him to openly admit these things. |
