This card can really do a job on you.... There are plenty of card that support this cards effect other than Card Destruction. I have seen people create complete decks around this card, it works okay. This card should have been a least a rare or super rare.

However I don't think Protector of the Sanctuary belongs in every deck I think it is very useful in a Necrovalley Deck or a Zombie Deck. With a Zombie Deck you now have Deck control with the monsters and hand control with Protector of the Sanctuary and the supporting cards. Necrovalley decks will be effective by keeping you from going back into your graveyard to use the cards that were lost.
