History: Was sent to America by his parents after he accidentally caused a water shortage in the city he lived in when he was 16, earning him his first alias, Drought. He moved in with the X-Men when his powers were heard of by Professor X, and he stayed with them for a year, going by Flood. His sister found him with the X-Men and joined the Brotherhood, but later moved to California alone. During various battles with the Acolytes, Matt began to see the thrill of causing mayhem. He kept to himself about it for a while, but wanted to join the Acolytes so he could use the full extent of his powers. Eventually, he did join the Acolytes, turning against the X-Men with no regret.
