i managed to kill 4 reindeer and skinned the dumb things. of course i forgot to butcher one so i'd have food.... so of course i had to fish after this and roast the fish.... so when i roasted the fish i only got one reindeer skin, and the rest disappeared. help?! i saved and went to bed at this point, so i can copy the save if necessary. this is a new bug for me.

edit: sorry my earlier grouchiness, my schedule at work has me working all three shifts in the same week without a break in between and i was trying to stay up later than my body could handle :ph43r: i still don't know what happened to those reindeer, tho.

So the skins were set to tan, four of them, and after roasting the fish there was only one to pick up?

sorry for the mistake, Sami. i must have been really tired when i misplaced those furs. i didn't realize that i was standing on my punt at the time. for some reason when i picked up the fish the game only listed one fur to pick up, which went into my inventory. when i backed up to look for the other three furs i naturally backed up into the water and my punt and everything in it came with me and so i saw bare ground.

today i started up the game to take a fresh look at the problem and re-check my inventory and it dawned on me that the character was in her punt next to the shore. i stepped back ashore and hit the key to see what i could pick up and the first three items available were reindeer hides.

i am such a dork :blink: i'm ashamed to show my face in public again :ph43r: i need a day off from work :P

at least i still have my hides and everything's fine. sorry again for the false alarm, now back to causing more trouble (hehe).
