As per the title. I've never been so amused by the game as I was last night. :lol: I'm normally very careful about where I place fires, usually I only have one going near a shelter and I never place them next to trees. But last night I wasn't really thinking, so I had one regular fire going and then I made a second one on the other side of the shelter just to burn some food that had gone bad. I always forget to use the discard option. <_<
Anyway, my character then promptly went to sleep in her shelter as the flames burnt on. Next morning she wakes up to not just two but THREE piles of ash around her. She slept right through a wee firestorm!
Then she went on to kill a bear by the dodgy tactic of shooting arrow -> run awaaaaay! -> hide real fast -> spy bear lumbering around in confusion -> shoot arrow rinse repeat until large huggable omnivore is dead.
I'm so proud. Of course after this bit of luck I fully expect her to be killed by a herd of wrathful cows or the like. :ph43r:

talk about luck that the shelter didn't burn down on top of you!
