Title: Strange Bedfellows

so this is not quite a story, but i just thought it was terribly funny that while i was playing the advanced task adventure i was supposed to attack a jnerpez and decided to wait since i had no food. while i was roasting some sheep meat i met up with some foreign traders. naturally i dug a couple of pits and harvested the usefull stuff. i got one of the traders to travel with me on a "hunting trip". while dealing with the foreign traders i got a notice that i had dealt with the bad guy threat (haha).
i walked into the njerpez camp, noticed that the foreign trader had disappeared, found a dead njerpez warrior on the ground and scavanged his gear. the only other living being i found was another njerpez who wanted to ask me had i met some captive escapee (very funny listening to this story from an actual njerpez) and was interested in traveling with me if i could bring him food and drink.
gee, what should i do? the idiot is lightly wounded, so he shouldn't be that hard for me and my dog to take out.... i'm taking votes, kill him or take him along as a companion?

I say take him, cause you know those damn njez always get the stupidly lucky hits! ;)

I once met this njerpez who (as always) attacked me...but i was able to talk to him about travelling and stuff......before he went frenzy.Just kill those red devils! ;)

It's easy to hide behind tree and say to njerp "wait a moment".
Then you can walk away in front of his eyes  and he just stands here

i'll tell you it was the cruelest thing, must have been a conspiracy. the njerpez joined me easily and we stepped out on the wilderness map together. i happened to accidentally brush the edge of the lovely map. as i was turning around to head the other direction (i was doing very well and had no plans on leaving, after all) a large group of foreign traders showed up and sucked us back into the local map.
now mind you, if you zoom into the local area while standing at the wilderness map edge you are not able to move left, right, up or down unless you want to change campaigns or zoom out first. of course i couldn't zoom out because i was surrounded by foreign traders aimlessly wandering about.
we all spent the next several days watching me slowly starve to death because i could not escape no matter what i did and the traders wouldn't leave while i ws there. my character was nearly down for the count when i finally lost my temper and quit the game, deleting the luckless Hunter and starting a new character.
ya know, it didn't occur to me until i was writing this that i COULD have just said screw it and changed campaign maps.... some days i can be so stupid.... :P

I just hate them so much! When in doubt, wipe them out!
