i was having fun with a new character, Suru, and had planted a nice turnip patch right in the middle of town where i had moved in. i had such plans for Suru. there was another town just to the north that i had visited and on the way back home i ran into a herd of cattle. what luck! i managed to slay 5 beasts all on my own (i had leashed one of them, but somehow forgot in the heat of battle and ended up killing that one too) and was in the process of skinning the carcases when a njerpez warrior showed up.

if i had had any sense i would have saved long before this moment. as it was over an hour of play was lost. my character was very tired and in need of a nap when attacked and she kept FALLING ASLEEP during the fight. i finally gave in, saved and went to work. i could have kicked myself for forgetting to save more often. oh well, time to make a new character..... :rolleyes:

Cujo lives!

i found a dog in the wilderness and leashed it. later we encountered a wild reindeer and of course we attacked it. mama needs a new coat. this is the play-by-play of the end of the short fight when i actually looked over to read what was happening.

Dog tries to bite Wild Reindeer. It makes attempt to bite it to its calf. Its attempt to dodge turns into a stumble. It scores nice hit to it.
Blood gushes out from its calf! Its calf is ripped off. It falls down immediately.

All I had to do after that was whack it in the head with my throwing axe to put it out of its misery.

i think Cujo is part german shepard and part pitbull, hehe :D ;)

This is the one thing that's always bugged me....

I can stay up for three days or so. I'm not very attentive, but I can do it...
