Title: A New Version 3.10-2 Released!
Description: ...a surprise bugfix release. Enjoy.

Yes - a new version is out now and downloadable from the game homepage.
It comes out from the blue, but I hope you don't mind :D
The reason to put out a new release that fixes hopefully the most crucial known bugs, is because I'm having kind of a summer holiday shortly, and wanted to offer you something before having a little time out.
Not nearly the all reported bugs are fixed here, but a lot are, and we also have a little bit of item quality tagging starting. And more realistic skill improvement system.
I didn't have too much time to test play this new release, so stay alert for bugs.
And keep on coming with suggestions...and enjoy the new release!

Thanks!
Lots of great new fixes and additions.
Is the 'Discard' command new? Can't remember seeing that before and it rocks! No more stacking rotten food til I get around to burning it =)
Liking the item descriptions too =)

'Discard' has been there for many, many versions.
And item descriptions - they are just the beginning... more item describing flavour coming in later on. (As soon as there appears to be more consensus about how the system should work :)

Hi Sami,
Not wishing to appear ungrateful, or anything, but any chance of a straight zip archive install of an installer package like you did for the last version?
(Really makes life easier for those not running windows)

Any MacOS X users out there:
Bizarrely the sound doesn't work on Crossover (version 6.2.1), this is the first time I've seen this. (It's also not an issue for me since I always have sounds turned off). urw 3.10-1 had working sound on this version of crossover.
However, works fine with sound on my old version of wine (0.9.52)... Not sure what's changed and this is probably more a bug for the makers of crossover, than Sami.

Confusingly no audio interface of the game has been touched _at all_ with the version 3.10-2. The new code hasn't even scratched the audio engine, so it must be some emulator related problem.
