One thing that always picked my bottom - the shovel.

You can't dig any kind of hole without a craftsman-made shovel. You can't dig holes, you can't have a cellar, you can't do agriculture - this always bugged me, ever since the oldschool urw.

I had dig a hole with my hands, given enough time.

But actually, there's an easy way to dig holes without a shovel. I live in northern alberta, it's just one big forest, and as a non sequitor the wildlife here is almost the same as in urw - though a reindeer is called a caribou here.

If you have a spear-like instrument, a big pointy stick, you can thrust it into the ground, reef it around a little, and then pull it out, thrust it in, reef it around, et cetera - eventually you have a hole filled with loose dirt. Then you just scoop out the dirt and whammo, a hole.

It always bugged me that you need an iron shovel to dig in urw. What am I, crippled? A frikken animal can dig a hole :).

I agree on the shovel thing. Possibly in the future we will have an option to use hands to dig holes, which would take longer (like using a stone axe for cutting). Or being able to dig with javelins or staves. Or maybe a stone shovel.

In the future I would kind of like to see the ability to make anything in the game world added. A way to make linen and wool clothing, build your own punt instead of a raft, make fishing nets, etc. Even making iron items, given enough time spent working on the necessary tools and skills.

Making everything? Not sure about that - it takes a way a little part of the game... I'm not convinced a person on their own in the Unreal World should be able to start smelting and crafting iron stuff - that's what those weird foreigners do.

But I would like a shovel, and fishing nets (a whole shed load of cords needed!) and I am tempted by the making of woollen clothes... (Don't need a punt; raft is fine).

But what I would *really* like is to be able to dig a well. They do it in villages and I'd like to set up in the deep country, away from the rivers, for a change and have my own source of drinking water.

id like it if having embers in your fire was more obvious maby a little red dot in the midle of the current burnt out fire image so it would show up better in youre fireplace

My request would be to have the targetting system for animals change. When I go into a Njerpez camp, I'll get the snot beaten out of me because my animals are too busy trying to attack a Njerpez who's off the screen while ignoring the one that's killing me.
