Have you ever had an injury so bad, you had to go to the hospital?

nothing too bad just stitches lol

I've never been sent to the hospital,lucky me,lol.
Where did you have to get stitches? what happened?

I had to get stiches on the back of my head, right above the neck. I was two years old, and I fell on a sharp edge of a fire place.

ouch! that sucks

Also, when I was three, i fel out of a shopping cart on my head. maybe that's why I'm so strange, lol

I closed a door on my finger and broke it.

It was only the tip, and when I broke it, the finger nail ripped off.

I busted a big part of my thumbnail when I was getting a book out of my locker. It was bleeding rather bad, so i had to go to the bathroom to rip the busted part off.

That's sounds a little gross, lol. "rippng the busted part off" :lol:

When I hit my head on that fire place, there was so much blood. There were huge puddles every where.

I might have to get jaw surgery next year in February

How come?

One side of my jaw is longer than the other. Even though it's not noticable, I still have to get the surgery before it would get worse

me and my mom and my grandma were just talking about the surgery tonight and my grandma is really worried about me and thinks I should wait to get it when I'm older because if i get it in february, it will take forever to recover and that means my senior year won't go as well.

so have you decided on it yet? oh and today at the beach I accidently swam over a rock and when I went to stand cut my heel on it grrrr.

ooooh that does sound painful. ouch. i woulda been here last night but i was at the hospital. 22 stitches in my r forearm. got cut on some really sharp metal. i had a piece of equipment fall on me yesterday.

wow that sucks glad to hear your alright or not more hurt then you are lol

yeah it did hurt and still does. but i was back at work today and im on call this weekend.

so you can still use your arm lol it doesn't open the stitches back up

i can still move it but i popped a couple of stitches on a service call today. i didnt have my arm covered so everyone was asking me what happened.

I actually know some one with that same problem as well. Well, HAD that problem. She had surgery earlier this year. Come to think of it, I haven't spoken with her much lately...

I have something of a problem with my jaw as well. Sometimes if I move it in certain directions, it'll pop (not like a regular finger pop), and I know it probably does some sort of damage to my mandible. Not a big deal at the moment, though.

my jaw pops sometimes too crap never really thought about it till now lol

what kind of equipment was it UA?

Anyway, every once in awhile my jaw will hurt for some reason and my bottom jaw is slightly ahead of my top jaw

it was a 150lb furnace. but im all healed up from that now :P
