Xenosaga: The Animation (TV)

Plot Summary: 4000 years have passed since humanity abandoned Earth. Forced to fight an alien form of life, Gnosis, mankind developed KOS-MOS - a battle android with amazing capabilities. When a ship carrying android is being attacked, KOS-MOS gets activated and save its creator, Shion Uzuki. But KOS-MOS doesn't want to listed her orders and executes some unknown plan. After their ship destroyed Shion and her companions find themselves thrust into the middle of a battle with Gnosis, U-TIC Organization and their own superiors. Battle with no clear sides...

Thats because there is no US release. Maybe they'll consider it in the future.

yeah, it hasn't come out in the US, its been out in the US for a while, but we all know japan gets everything... sigh... I am considering buying it, but I could also just watch it online... slowly... lol.

well that stinks I guess I should start to learn japanese so I could understand some of things that don't come to the us :lol:

learning japanese is hard, but really fun! And its awesome to recognize words! I really need to get back into my studies, lol. If ya wanna learn, I can try and help too, lol.

Its interresting how the anime is drawn. I've never seen any other anime drawn that way.

I own the anime...i bought it from ebay..its sooooo cool totally action packed...i have it with english subs though...but i do really hope that it comes out in the US its soo good...Also i hope that part 2 and 3 get done on anime. :D

That would be awesome! Then they could release all of them together as a DVD box set!

I know I'd buy it if it came to the US. I am tempted to get the japanese with subs though, lol, but I'll save my money for games, lol, for now, lol.

Xenosaga: The Animation is generally deemed far inferior to Episode I the game. I've watched the anime, and 90% of what makes Xenosaga deep and thought provoking is taken out. :( However, in an interview, Takahashi hinted at a possible re-write of the anime. :lol:

I just want to see the anime :lol:

Ohh, so it's not as deep, huh? Then I'll pass. Thats the real reason why the game was so compeling. If they do rewrite it, lets hope they make the story equally as thought provoking as the game.
