Title: Spirited Away
Description: Have you seen or heard of it?
Seraphiel - April 20, 2004 05:40 PM (GMT)
I love that film soooooooooooooooooo much! I've seen it three times! The good thing is, you can see the undubbed version with the dubbed on the dvd, and the art in it's amazing! If you haven't seen it yet, and you can, definately see it!
Renegade - April 20, 2004 06:17 PM (GMT)

Gabrella - April 20, 2004 07:51 PM (GMT)
It's on sell in england now and everytime I got to get it I end up either not being able to fine it or it's out of my price or I see another anime with vampires or cute girls in and end up getting that.

Neia - April 20, 2004 11:31 PM (GMT)
What do you expect?Hayo Miyazaki is genius!
Elisa - April 21, 2004 12:39 AM (GMT)
I was considering getting the DVD to see what it was like... but I really don't like the art style so it puts me off...
Renegade - April 21, 2004 03:45 AM (GMT)
geeet it get it!!!! *pokes elisa*
Crazy Rei luva - April 21, 2004 01:58 PM (GMT)
But I must say I don't like how Chihiro looks...
Neia - April 21, 2004 03:03 PM (GMT)
Because we're so used to seeing big eyed people with flawless skin and everything perfect. If you watched it you would be amazed at the tone and textures. The actions are life like, you can actually see hair strands moving and the surrondings would make anyone believe it was real.I admire the art....I think I'll shut up now because when it comes to art styles I could go on forever.
Crazy Rei luva - April 21, 2004 06:23 PM (GMT)
I admire the art too, but not the character designs. That's the only thing I dislike!
Becs - April 21, 2004 06:49 PM (GMT)
It was frustrating for me when it came out at the cinema... 'cus I planned
to go see it... but when I arrived there... it was sold out. :( The next
screening was like a month later!
But anyways... my dad bought it for me on DVD for my birthday...
I watched and I loved it! The ending with Haku and Chihiro was sooo
sweet. :)
I think Princess Mononoke was mentioned earlier... I've also bought that
on DVD, but I haven't watched it yet. Is it good?
Neia - April 21, 2004 06:51 PM (GMT)
Princess Mononoke is a favorite.
Crazy Rei luva - April 21, 2004 07:00 PM (GMT)
IT IS A WONDERFUL MOVIE!!! My fave Miyazaki! The character designs of Haku and the boy in Princess Mononoke are alike, when I saw the eyes of that boy, I was immediately like: OMG! He looks so much like Haku!
silver_swiftness - April 21, 2004 08:25 PM (GMT)
Spirited Away is an AWESOME movie! ^-^
Haha...when the big baby turned into a mouse...I couldn't stop laughing!

Nyassa Kai's Clone - June 7, 2004 10:40 PM (GMT)
I'm watching it now. I'm at the part where Chihiro is going down into the boiler room to meet Kamaji. I absolutely can't get enough of Hayao MIyazaki. I even named these two characters in my original, "Otaku Planet," Miya and Zaki. They're also known as the Tanuki Twins. Picture a female Fred and George.
Dark_Devil - June 7, 2004 10:56 PM (GMT)
I've only seen Spirited Away of Hayao Miyazaki but I've seen little clips of her other movies and they look so cool.
crisia - June 7, 2004 10:56 PM (GMT)

Nyassa Kai's Clone - June 8, 2004 12:36 PM (GMT)
Haku sounds so much like Ken in Digimon 02! And Lin sounds like Mai in Yugioh! That, and I heard that the girl who played Lilo in Lilo and Stich played Chihiro! (giggles) It's sooooo cool!

I have Spirited Away on DVD. I was unsure of the art work, because it's not a style I particually like, but I did actually like the film. The plotline was good, the characters well defined and the artwork really was very good when I got used to the style. ^^
