I dont think some people heard/watch this anime. Because, it doesnt appear much on TV or Iternet.
I first lay my eyes on it when I was back in the Philippines. There was an commercial about it on 'Animax'. Too bad I didnt watch it but my head is going to blow if I dont find any video clips on net.

I've seen some of this, but only in German o_O My dad likes it more than I do XD He likes that girl with the pink hair and eat ears o.O My German isn't that good, but it seemed a pretty good anime.

It seems like a good show to me, I know a few things about it and might pick it up. ^^ I'm already familiar with Hiead as he is in a Bishonen World fanfiction of someone I know and I like him! I find the brown-haired boy at the bottom to be extremely sexy too tho X3.

I need to see this series. It's made by Yukiru Sugasaki, creator of DN Angel I believe. The animation looks a bit similar ..

Anyway, I'll put this on my 'must-see' list.

I watched a bit of this years ago and somehow I still remember it pretty well. °.° It's about young teenagers being sent to a space academy (called GOA) to learn how to pilot giant robots (called Goddesses) so they stop an alien force (called Victim) from destroying the Earth (called Zion ?_?).

Didn't sit well with me, really. ^^; One minute they're in the future and then after a particular encounter inside one of the Goddesses, Zero imagines everyone in a pastoral 19th century schoolyard. How would he know what one of those looked like…? ^^;;

Oh Wow. You guys havn't seen the best parts of this anime. Candidate for Goddess is also a Manga by yukiru Sugisaki. The MAnga is a bit different from the Anime but it has better art in it. Canddiate For Goddess was also Translated into English and retitled Pilot Candidate. This version you can by on Amazon.com.

The Girl with Cat ears is the Repairer to Zero's Proing. Her name is Kizna Towrk or Christina when translated from Japanese. Her and zero often don't get along but even by the fifth episode you can tell they're going to get together... If Zero doesn't go for Teela, the Pilot of the First Goddess.

As for the Episode when Zero is having flash backs to his old Colony (That would be the 19th century school yard) he is imagening his friends from the GOA to be there with him. At the time he is unconcious because an incident with his EX.

It is cool! Giant flying space mecha blowing up organic space monsters while also having time to have romantic encounters! Ah... It's great. Though it was never completed... ^_^U

This is a good anime, my dad bought the entire DVD set. I felt it was quite short though, I wanted more episodes XD

Have you seen the Pilot Candidate version? It's what they played on Cartoon network oh so long ago. It's in english and the mecha is a bit better done.

Yeah it's the Pilot Candidate version I have. Saw it was 'Candidate for Goddess' in German first though. Not that I understood much of it mind you XD

Oh, Lol. I have the Candidate for Goddesss Japanese Version. The Subtitles are all messed up though. The Names and some of the words are incorrectly translated, it makes it really hard to understand. It's no fair T_T
