Is this anime good to watch? You know, it's only in Ty Kamara where I get good recommendations of anime so I am asking you people if you recommend me to watch this anime. It may look stupid at first though.

Well I've only seen one or two episodes in German, but it's very funny and I think if you like comedy it's well worth watching ^^ I'd love to see some more of this anime myself.

It's very funny and has very crazy characters! The animation looks pretty crazy too!

I just saw it today and I thought it was quite funny ^^, and that guy with the straw hat(I can't remember his name x.x) is just so cute looking and hilarious, its an alright anime if you like pirates and treasure and things like that ^^.

I just saw it today too and I was kind of disgusted by it. :sweatdrop: Sorry, I had to be the negative. It doesn't seem like your typical anime animation and it seems more silly than serious. I'm totally into treasure hunting and pirates and such, but I'm not into this. I'm not watching anymore - but I do recommend you to watch it yourself and experience it yourself before making any conclusions. ^^;

Oh yeah - and the theme song drove me nuts! I kept on muttering "shut up" the whole time. @.@

I adore the manga for this series. It's absolutely hilarious. It's not your typical series though. It's really goofy and doesn't have too many really serious parts.

So far I've only seen the one eppie of the dub... it kind of annoyed me in some places. Luffy's voice, for instance, was horrible. x_X It made my ears bleed. And the opening song was pretty bad (but marginally better than Shaman King's dubbed one).

I say go for it though. It'll probably have you laughing until your sides hurt at times. Especially when they introduce Usopp.

I must agree it sucks very much so.. I hate Luffy's voice.. *it sounds like a 10-12 year old or something*I'm a fan of the manga though so I recommend if you like manga watch it instead of the anime but go ahead and watch and see if you like it

I read a bit of the manga. My friend has too. We've both come to the conclusion that it's not that bad. Despite what other people think of it, you should watch it anyway. Then you can decide what you think of it.

Yeah sure but in the later series they get a lot more serious.......with a few gags but not much. As for the theme song well.......I hate it to, but all in all I like it. Oh and if some think German Luffy has a baby voice than you are gonna hate the English version. I personally think that the German Luffy is ok.

XD i personally think it's a hilarious anime! i love the english theme song, and they don't really seem to butcher it much (i think some people have been complaining ;) ) Nami's great.

i can't help but watch a little movie short over and over again, titled "Jango's Dance Carnival" XD it's funny and has SUPER catchy J-pop in it! wish i could upload it somewhere or something so others could see it, but meh, whatever :P

The Tagalog dub placed a brat's voice on Luffy (naughty kid-type) and a serious type on Ronoan Zoro.

I like Sanji and Zoro. They're so cool! I even bought an action figure of Sanji and Zoro last month. I like it when Zoro bites his third sword then slashes with the other two just like Natoe of SS20XX.

this anime is pretty funny and great but I'm not sure since I only read its manga.. (my cousin got vol. 1 to 29 of its manga)

I havent been watching its tagalog dubbed yet so.. gomen...

but I recommend it to you though if you need laughs like me!! its funny!! ^___^

What I like there is the guy named Shiro (am I correct?) Oh sorry, Zoro. He is so cool. He can actually fight with 3 swords? But anyways, that Hawk-eyed guy named Mihawk underestimated him with a small sword. Go Zoro!

Told you.........so any fav fights? My favs were Zoro vs. Mihawk, Zoro vs. Mr.1, and the others vs. Baroque agents.

One Piece is an awesome anime. I adore it.
I watch it on Fox Kids and I have read alot of the manga. Roronoa Zoro is my favorite.

For now, in Japan, they shown 226 episodes and is still going up.

well Yeah..4kids dubbed it so don't expect much.I heard they Horribly butchered it.

Will it come to the point when Zorro will defeat Mihawk because I'm so excited to see that Hawkeye guy fall.

Well, I think we'll have to wait a while for that to happen, but Zorro has a small thought on how he's going to beat him. As for the English version, well, from the reviews and when I say the cuts and changes, I can say that when they come to the Arlong saga, Alabasta saga and even Jaya and Skypiea saga, They're gonna have a hard time cutting and making it fit for little kids. I mean when Buggy stabs Zorro from behind, they cut out the knife and blood and said that Zorro's KNEE is hurting!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THEY MADE ZORRO SO WEAK!!!!

It sucks to know that the English dub cut the coolest scenes.
Here in the Philippines, we are finished with the Arabasta Saga and Nico Robin had just joined Luffy's gang.

I look forward for Mihawk's defeat.

It will take long before we see Zorro beat Mihawk. Why? Well, the sagas are one problem: We first have a mini arc after Nico joins in until episode 143. After that, there's a 9 episode saga (Jaya saga). Then there's the second longest saga in OP so far, called Skypiea saga wich is about 51 epsiodes long. The there is another mini arc with Luffy and his gang landing in a Marine base. Then there's the Foxy saga wich starts with episode 207 (and the death of Bellamy) and ends in episode 219. Then there's another mini arc that lasts 4-5 episodes. And now the current saga in the manga and anime is the Water 7 saga.

2. Zorro is only worth 60.000.000 berrys while Mihawk is probably 270.000.000 or so. I could go on about the bounty's but I don't think many people are interested.

I've only seen a couple of episodes of the anime and i think this anime looks so good.

I love One Piece, it seems that Dragon has the biggest bounty which is 850,000,000 then Shanks who's is 700,000,000 then Mihawk which is 600,000,000.

Mihawk is really cool imo. Zoro/Sanji/Luffy/Nami..are my fav characters.

I have a few wanted posters. Shanks' bounty was currently unknown then it became 55,000,000 then 700,000,000.

I dont like it. It tries to be funny but I don't find it funny at all. :-/
