Favorite Character: Kane

This show is cool! My favourite character is Kuroudo.

Kuroudo reminds me of Russel Tringram from FMA ^_^
Crush Gear series is shortly followed by Crush Gear Nitro which has lesser bishies.

Crush Gear Turbo is pretty cool. I like Takeshi. He's hot! :wub: Kuroudo is a pretty cool character too. Oh, and Kane. Both of them are quite cute. I wanna see Crush Gear Nitro but I don't think it has been shown in Australia yet.

It is sad that some people say that Crush Gear Turbo is just like a Beyblade copycat but more rather... a "Let's and Go!!" copycat.

Still, Crush Gear has it's own pace, cars that battle in a small arena with front, rear and/or side weapons.

I like Takeshi and Jinn. They had given a major contribution in the world of Crush Gear at a young age.

Yeah, Takeshi Manganji and Kyousuke Jinn rocks too but isn't it a bit exaggerated to see a young kid doing an engineer's work unless they're perfect NERDS? :sweatdrop:

Funniest Part ---> When Kyousuke tried to look for someone to fix Kuroudo's gear near the end of the CGT series, Ms. Lanfan chased him and they bumped into each other. Kyousuke kept on thinking that Lanfan is a male even if he already touched her... uhh... and that happened in front of Takeshi which made Takeshi say "You're dirty, aren't ya?"

This show is simply beautiful :D

Of course similarities come between beyblade and crush gear, but a lot of diffenernces as well.

But what I like about both series is that both of their eng versions are\ done beautifully. Of course beyblade had a few things cut, it backed it upo with some nice lyrics and good voice actors ^_^ and there are 'good enough' reasons to cut them out, unlike Megaman Nt warrior and Yugioh (dammit! :angry: ).

But Crush Gears english version surprised me the most! I don't think they've changed the script in anyway and they left everything for kiddos ta see, such as the first time Jirou and Kouya met Kyousuke Jinn. Refreshing peoples mind, heres what I remeber on what he said.

Jinn: All Crush Gear Fighters deserve to go to hell (In English for kiddies :D !)

Other scenes include repetitive use of death or characthers going psycho like Kouya, Kane and WangHu.

Oh and did anyone realise that all four characters have a japanese U in their name?

I noticed that I long time ago while trying to write their names in katakana.

Thankfully, it wasn't damn 4Kids Entertainment nor Nelvana who dealt with Crush Gear Turbo and Nitro. It was a Singapore Company (forgot the name), the same as those who did the English dub for Yu-Gi-Oh! in our country (thankfully our English Yu-Gi-Oh! is uncut and unedited ^_^)

The english dub from your country... is it german? Whatever it is, I've seen the unedited dub version you probably speak of, but their voice actors are juz... *shrugs* -_- Joey was the only voice actor that seemed good in his position ^^

And wasn't the produces of Crush Gear from SunRise? At least what I thought, I'll watch my tapes again ^_^.

And 4kids is screwy! ><. Nothing against Nelvana, they at least did alot better than 4kids ^^. The only thing I like about 4kids are there voice actors and sopundtrack/lyris ^_~, especially beyblade ^^.

Oh and, whats Chrush Gear Nitro? Is it the first or second? Someone plz explain X_X

It's not a sequel to Crush Gear Turbo but rather another story featuring another set of Crush Gear fighters. I don't bother with it because it doesn't have a fair amount of bishies or bishoujos.

I saw the covers of the manga version, it doesn't seem like thne original. And WTH? How come the main character has a Garuda Phoenix!? :wacko: Ah well... I haven't watched the last eps yet :( All I can hope for is the VHS/DVD's coming out, but noooo, they didn't realease the other volumes cause Australia's too SLOW in all its internation trades! <_<

You're Australian, right? Same here. Have a look at Ezy DVD's site for updates on Crush Gear DVDs. I've bought a few anime DVDs from them. They have a shop at Warringah Mall so whenever I want a new anime DVD, I just go there. Well, only if I can't get them from my local EB Games store. I just had a look at the site and the only volumes they've got are 1-7. Australia is pretty slow, huh?

Crush Gear Nitro itself is the title of the anime that is not really a sequel to Crush Gear Turbo. I've heard of rumors that there is a movie of Crush Gear Turbo though.

Well, I don't find Crush Gear Nitro any good compared to Crush Gear Turbo.

I'd watch the original if I have to though. I still haven't finished series cause I was at the Philippines last year with my relatives. So close as well! :( , but I enjoyed my trip, especially when I watched Seed there ^_^

Which reminds me, Zhou Yu, theres a tagalog version there in the Phills right? You would know ^_~

Yeah but, you should've seen the dub in Cartoon Network. It's not those idiots from 4Kids or Nelvana who dubbed it but those awesome guys from Funimation or Voice Overs.

Of course I saw it, remember my other comments on this thread? :sweatdrop: Like I said though, nothing angainst Nelvana, but 4Kids, DAMMIT!!! And when I watched Mem Mem Power, I was shocked to know they did it too! NOOO!!!! Those girls didn't deserve 4Kids! :shake:

Anyways, for anyone whose into old anime (me :] ), I just wanted to note that there are some english episodes of crush gear turbo on youtube, but not the whole series is up.

If anyone's got any episode (hopefully english) it would be great if they were uploaded.
