Just curious if anyone has seen this. I only got to see the last half off the first episode.... I thought it was pretty good though.

I've heard the name, but I haven't seen it much. It's not aired in Canada, so I guess I'll have to download it somewhere.

Haven't seen it yet...BUT I WENT BONKERS WHEN I SAW IT WAS ON CN!

I taped it, but the VCR messed the tape up...So I didn't get to see the whole thing.
I hate it when that happens...we need a new VCR...or better yet, a DVD recorder...

*-* the newest anime that have robbed my sight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they got a lot of bishis here!! Kira looks like Nagi a lot! the only dif is that Nagi have blue eyes and that Kira's bangs are a bit longer. actually.... what makes me wants Kira the more is that Kira have... dundundun!! Hoshi's voice! as in Hoshi Souichirou's voice so thats why I guess its safe for me to say that Brooklyn's (and maybe Lucia) voice will come out just fine ;) !! anyways, this show is much more better than the other Gundam Sagas though its story line/characters kinda copy the Wing's... animations are much more better, story isn't all that dizzy @_@ and most of all, it got a lil bit of romance ^-^!! coz once you've seen the opening, you'll be seeing Kira naked in one of those part (okay, highlighted part <_< ) and he's with that pink haired girl... not Fleigh(sp?)

blame me for not knowing the names since I've only watched a few episodes of it so yeah, I'm still at the first part. I've started out around episode 11 or 12....

I've seen most of the series and I can say with confidence that Gundam Seed is the BEST Gundam show they've had so far.

XD... ^_^ there's a sequel to the series coming out in October called Gundam SEED Destiny... ^_^ Asuran (Athrun) and Cagalli will be returning for sure... ^_^ we might see some of the other characters.... is really hoping to see Yzak and Dearka and maybe flashbacks of Nikkoru [Nicol] :D Too bad Kira killed him... <_< damn you Kira!! :rant: So if any of you haven't seen it... I HIGHLY suggest you go and give it a shot... ;) even if you HATE mechas... it's DEFINITLY worth a shot... Good story plot... very nice character developments and they aren't afraid to kill off characters... (my poor Nikkoru...) The animation is really nice as well... and it's more practiacal... Gundam Wing, they were TOO YOUNG and they had waaaayyyyy TOO MUCH POWER!! :rant: Well, that's all I got to say...

Gundam Seed isn't over here in the Phils. yet.

As you start wathcing this from epi 20 and onwards, it gets more exciting. Very good series.

Ah then I will start to feed your crave until you become insane. GS has:

- Better violence
- It is a bit more sexuel but who cares
- Better animation
- Better story line
- Better mecha
- Better everything

My favourite episode is when Kira is lead to this new MS "Freedom" and destroys the other MS's.

Oi Neoflamedevil! You and me are in the same boat... Gundam SEED hasn't even aired in Canada yet... <_< And so far there are no plans to unless YTV begs to differ... Why won't you just download them on Bit Torrent or try the IRC channels? I know that Ep 1 - 50 are in two packs, all subbed in english by different groups... and there's at least ep 1 - 16 in english.. but the group that was doing them stopped releasing them... <_<

Anyways, for those of you who are interested in the sequel of Gundam Seed, it's called Gundam Seed Destiny... set to air in October... there are several sub groups that will be doing them... Returning characters include: Athrun, Cagalli, Lacus, and Miriallia... the rest so far are unknown... Kira will no doubt be in the sequel but it hasn't be confirmed yet... anyways, there are a ton of new characters and another mask dude who has been nicknamed "Mr. Buckethead" :laugh: let's just hope Gundam Seed Destiny will meet its high expectations... until then, we wait for it to be released!

Yay! Gundam Seed airs tonight on YTV @ 9:30PM... ^_^ And Destiny comes out next month!! YAY!! Poor Americans... Cartoon Network is going to end Gundam Seed at episode 26... they probably won't air it again for the next 5 months... oh well... I'm happy I'm Canadian!! ^_^

I've watch the first two episodes. And I like it a lot so far...

They did an ok job so far at the English version... They did a nice job of Cagalli's voice... but I hate Lacus's voice... :rant: it's sooooooooo annoying in the English voice..... :rant: and they RUINED HER SONGS in the english version as well.... arrrgggggggg!!!!!!!1 :rant: I loved her Japanese voice!! Her voice was so nice... and her singing was awesome!! arrrgggg!!!!1 They ruined her in the english version!!!!1 :rant: arrrrrrgggggggg!!!!!!!1 :rant: I could spend all day ranting about this, but I'm too lazy... :sweatdrop: oh well... Lacus = Pink haired girl aka as Mwu put it, the "Pink Haired Princess"... appears in like episodes 7, 8, or 9... she's an AWESOME character... but they royally messed her voice up in the english... :shake: especially her songs... :rant: if anyone has heard the actually japanese songs... they're REALLY good... they totalled screwed her in the English version... trust me.... they made Lacus like a stupid lil pink haired air head in the english version... arggg... it drives me nuts how they protrayed her in the english version... :rant: it gives me a headache...

And Kira's robot bird... they renamed it "Birdy" :angry: what kind of name is that?! They could've just kept it "Torii" but nooooo..... they stupid writers changed it to Birdy!! :rant: arrggg.... and Pink-Chan (the haro... which is the lil pink thing that belongs to Lacus which was a gift from Athrun... personally, I think Haro is a secret weapon that Athrun made to use to take over the world... MWHAHAHAHA!!! lol... :sweatdrop: ) it's voice is so low... it doesn't sound as cute as it was before... :( But anyways... at least there is a dubbed version... somehow i think the creators of gundam seed got the idea from mobile suit gundam (first ever gundam series) like the trojan horse as the legged ship, amuro as kira, haro as... well err haro and Mobile Suit Gundam as Strike Gundam... and what happend to freedome gundam and waht happened to Mobile Suit gundam are similar... no head, arms and leg... Prominence (Providence?) and Zazabi and Char aznable and Rau Le Crusset

It's not really disturbing to me... the only really disturbing parts was when Kira and Athrun were fighting in episode 30 after Nicol's death *points to signy* [Arrrggg!! Why must my 2nd favourite character die?! Oh well... always got Yzak... *glomps Yzak plushie*] Where the two start screaming:

"KIRRRAAAAA!!!!!!!" and then Kira replies:

"ATTTTHHHHHRRRRRUUUUNNNNN!!!!!!!!!" with tears in his eyes... but I had to admit it was really cool and funny at the same time to see two childhood friends go crazy and beat the crap out of each other... lol... :sweatdrop:

Most of the gundam series are based off of Mobile Suit Gundam... it's normally space colonies [in this case PLANT and ZAFT] verses the Earth [in this case, the Earth Alliance]. It's always been like that... maybe except for Turn a Gundam... which if I remeber correctly, it was a tournament...

The only realy spin off or as most people would say "rip off" of this would have to be Gundam Wing... *hides from Gundam Wing fans* It's the truth!! You can't hurt me for posting the truth... anyways, I'm really looking forward to the sequel: Gundam Seed Destiny, which is in less than 3 weeks!! ^_^ YAHA!!!! ^_^

Well, they couldn't have let him lived either... that's the really sad part... if he didn't die, it wouldn't have forced Athrun to fight as hard as he did against Kira. As well, Kira would've never been brought to Lacus, thus, never recieving Freedom... As well, Athrun would've never meet Cagalli and Dearka wouldn't have been captured... thus never meeting Miriallia or going to Orb...

Some people say that Nicol plays a small and an unimportant role in Gundam Seed... but in the short little paragraph proves just how important he is... besides, he shows us that sometimes, even the youngest, most innocent person will have to do something to secure the future for others we care and love. I really think Nicol is a very powerful character in Gundam Seed... that's why my signature and avatar is Nicol... ^_^ Too bad my photoshop died before I had a chance to make an Yzak one... <_< oh well....
