1.Ok start out with a New document 400x100 White backround

2.Then make any text you like ( make sure it is black)

4.After that create a new layer.

5. Then click on the text layer, and then ctrl+left click on the text layer (to select the font)

6. Without changing the selection go to the top layer that is blank.
Then click on the marquee tool.

7. Then in the selection (still on top layer) right click and go to stroke and use these settings:

8. Go to the backround layer and make it black. Then create another layer.

9. Select the gradient tool and make a bar on the left side.
then press Ctrl+I to switch the color

Here is what it should look like

10. Then on the layer with the gradient change the style to screen

11. Then press ctrl+g

12. then at the bottom of the tool bar and select the button to go to image ready

13. In Image Ready create another slide

14. Then select the layer with the gradient and drag it across the screen to the right side.

15. then press on the tween button and use these settings

then you are pretty much done, here is what mine looks like

On # 13 there is a black circle... the button to the left of it is the tween button wink.gif

Ok when you are in image ready go to FILE> SAVE OPTIMIZED AS and then it will be a gif

the picture on number 13 has a black circle in it..... the tween button is to the left of the circle.
and what did you not find? on #13/

yes it is, I didn't try yet... but you can try with other colours...
You can even try with different colours, but you won't get the spot light effect, but more like words changing colours...

take the 'move tool' (at the right side of the marquee tool) and select in the layer list the layer with the gradient, grab it, and put it to the right side of your sig or animation..
