thewizardofoz - December 1, 2007 11:01 PM (GMT)
great looking eldar. very crisp and clean and smooth

hiveminion - December 1, 2007 11:05 PM (GMT)
Now that's a lot of Eldar you got there mate.

The checkered pattern on the Harlequin is fantastic, really well executed. I also really like the highlighting on the armour and I love the Scorpion. :)

Nice work, looking forward to more!

Jester - December 1, 2007 11:08 PM (GMT)
Cheers for your kind words guys :)

Death Korp - December 1, 2007 11:10 PM (GMT)
Brillaint Eldar mate, but i love the blue on the Dire Avenger, he s sweet.

Are you from the UK? It'll be cool to play against that army :)

Rictus - December 1, 2007 11:12 PM (GMT)
Welcome aboard the ship AB. God bless all who sail in her. Or on her.

Looking very nice. Especially like the Scorpion and Avenger.

The only thing I would like to see different on the Harlie is the gun body being a different colour, same maybe with the left foot. Maybe a bit too black overall.

The banshee could do with resizing, nasty white box and all, but those pics are otherwise just fine.

Lovely Eldar, and welcome!

Digits - December 2, 2007 12:01 PM (GMT)

sooooo

UPDATE TIME!
to start of i was a bit vague at the start of the log, the big list i put in the 1st post is a list of the stuff i've got and i'm hoping this log will help me work my way through it.

i have painted some of the stuff and now dacone has take some more pics for me i'll put some up!

Right my december pledge is finish my squad of fire dragons so i've got 3 normal fd's to do and the exarch
This is what they should look like the red looks better in the flesh cause you cant really see the highlights in these pics
( i used p3 paints and there quite glossy so that might be the reason the high lights didnt show up)

i've just spent an arm and a leg on some winsor newton series 7 brushes so im hoping they might speed up the painting of the harlequins
has any one on here used any?
they do look quite good :)

Those brushes are the ones I swear by, they hold their tip for so long its rediculous. They really shall help the painting process, its amazing how much better brushes iimprove your painting, I noticed it immediately. If you picked up the 00 tip those harlequins should be quite easy now.

schoolcormorant - December 5, 2007 08:14 PM (GMT)
Another for the swear by series 7's! I only use three though, because i'm a cheap northerner, 1,0 and 000.

Keep up the good work Jesty

I picked up a 1 0 00 000x2 (one for light colours) so lets hope it speeds up the space clowns :)

Here's a cheeky update of some WIP fire dragons and a VERY WIP harle not 100% sure on the colours for the harle :(

cheers

schoolcormorant - December 6, 2007 08:49 PM (GMT)
