OK well here is the start of my Malcador, There are some gaps that need filing whick i will be doing later, the next part i am doing is the front of the tank

update, I had a long look at the back and did not like it so i have changed it will upload pictures tomorow, I have made the left side the same as the right.

no to twinlinked lascannons, all heavy bolters and a demolisher cannon

but otherwise thats a damn good start

I don't care what it's got, the Malcador is a damned fine looking tank, different guns are just different flavors.

I made a set of templates for the malcador a while back. Check the BWC archive on yahoo groups or let me know if you like & ill e-mail em to ya.

i have redone the back as i said in a diffrent post, i am now working on the front of the tank, its a pain to do.

Looks good, but out of curiosity why is the turret offset to the side? The normal Malcadors turret is square in the middle, and the lascannons have the same amount of traverse to each side. Sorry to nitpick, I am just curious is all.

I thort i would make it a little difreent, then it would not look like a copy of the FW version.

And the main gun can move about the same each side, I just added detail to the right side so its got a little bit more room that side.

added more detail, and done the sponsers. the sponser weaps have got magnets in them so i can change them around.

I like the fact that the main gun can traverse.

Were the side sponsons difficult to inset like that. I have been reluctant to try it.

Oh, and the new Forgeworld kit has the twin linked Las cannon Malcador, the Battle cannon Malcador, or the origianl linebreaker Malcador. All are very yummy looking tanks.

Both sides took me about 1hour 30mins to do both, its not that hard to do, but just take time cuting every thing out.

Ok so here it is i think its 80% finished just need rivets but i cant find my pack of them. So C+C welcome, Also the Hunter killer misile got a magnet so i can take it of if i need to,

that is a seriously nice scratch built, I was worried that the back was a little uneven in the first pics but It looks great with the other bits. I like the front and the las-turret work well
