Well its about time I started my log :)

Well Ive now been collecting over 2 years and Ive have built and painted 3 full army's a GK ,Elysian and Cadians

As for what I'm building and painting now ,Im on with the full DA 3rd company with Thunder hawk and 50 strong DW detachment and a small RW squad.





as well Ive bought a load more armies Ive got a full Eldar army with 50 Harlequins, Chaos marine army with a FW Bloodthirster ,60 Legion of the dammed marines (these are my pride and joy cost me a lot to get all them) and Im just about to buy the rest of the bits I need for my DK army .None of these armys are built there still all boxed.

Im sorry for the poor pictures but Im due to clean out my cabinets so i will take some close up when i do :)

So what do I want from all you lot is to keep me going on the long road a head to get all these models built and painted :D

The cadians were my first army i painted so the quality is a bit poor.

Better than what i can do, they are amazing (Drops dead from icantpaintasgoodasthisphobia). Thanks for the pics, just inspired me!

Glad you like them ,And im only happy to inspire people to paint there own armys ,The reason why ive painted so much is to make up for lost time ,I start to collect 40k when I was 15 but gave it up when i found girls and drink :D

I have always thought you a good painter, but maybe not much more (sorry) but when I saw your LS at GD, I knew that this judgement was just from the quality of the pictures, and I was glad to see that they honestly do not do your models much justice, but its the same for alot of people on here, their models look much better in RL.

So whats next then? And what did you buy at GD?

As For what I got at GD ,I got 2 DK commissars ,both the FW pilots the FW GD ogryn ,DK HQ command squad ,DK Command squad ,Quartermaster and servitors ,2 DW shoulder pads ,1 DA brass icons ,GD ork,2 Basing kits and a LR Prometheus.

At the moment Ive made a start on painting the next DW terminator I should have some pictures later on tonight

@Deadley: are you going use the Ammo as a main forum for your project log?

well I made a start on the DW tonight so far ive only painted 2 coats but hes starting to take shape



Tommorow I should finish the armour ,Then its the detail .Im hoping to finsh him by the weekend :)

it is freaking me out that people keep posting after me before i an leave the section, then i have to go back and post again . . . OCD is a bitch . . .

Its 1 30 in the morning here ,i always stay up late on my days off work :) i find it easier to paint when my GF and my boy are a sleep ,I just stick a film on or a TV series and away I go.

pssh. only 1:30? i've stayed up till, like, 5 am before (on here and warseer). i've also pulled all nighters playing axis&allies and building lego sets.

Ah, good old dedley log *leans back* Man you have painted so much it's so great.

Well so far to day Ive been painting the armour of the DW ,It hard trying to get it to match up with my first DW I did ,But im sure i will get there ;)

Plus after seeing all the cool stuff at GD its made me want to get the rest of the DK bits I need (Is all Rictus fault he made the army list for me) So i thought Id post the list to see what goodies I will have coming in the next week or 2 :P

With what ive already got this will make a cool army,plus Ive got on order a GW Baneblade which I will be using as Commisars tank and Im going to strip my Cadian Baneblade as well and paint it up for my DK.

How did you do the city like bases for your dark angels? Like colour paints wise?

Just curious

For the COD bases I dry brush them Codex grey ,then Fortress ,The building bits are then dry brushed Graveyard ,then i pick out stones or rubble with a bit of bleached bone ,then i ink the grey areas with a black ink wash ,then I ink wash the stones and rubble with a brown ink wash .As the inks are drying i mix a bit of black in wash in to the brown areas just to make them look dirty

Similar to how i'm doing mine, except i give them a light bone colour brush (the dirt) afterwards.

plus the base is made up of the new basing kit ,It should be fun to paint as ive never painted a Ork before ,I need to get some practice be for all the new ork bits come out ;) all he needs is a call sign for him ,I was think may be something on lines of Big wolf one

WOOOHOOO!!! The Deadley steamroller just keeps rolling along, You'll fill up all the empty spots in your shelves again the way you keep spending.

The DW look great so far, I'll go sit in the corner now and paitiently wait for more ;)
