Description: the iron prince

made from various bits to fit my steampunky ironwarriors.
hes a basic deamonprince (wingless even if it sucks) with doom bolt to represent the "pistol"

Looks really good but my only problem with it is it looks a bit puny could be bulkier

charlie_c67 - November 12, 2007 12:04 AM (GMT)
Agreed, that was my first thought, more pistons in the arms and body! And maybe a little bit bigger head? Like the idea though :)

Love it! Very steam-punkish, like you said! Fits the theme nicely, and I duno, I like the skinny-ness, makes it look weird, like a brutal machine but rather delicate, I think it fits well for an Iron Warriors Demon Prince!

Very original converiosn, looks great, quite wierd :o well done! :) B)

skinny? yes, he is slim but he isnt small by any means. the base he hardly fits on is the 60mm one.

i like that he has a small head on a long neck. it makes him look like a wierd robo-vulture! he looks a bit old and tired too and thats nice aswell!

Gungnir - November 12, 2007 11:32 AM (GMT)
personally I'm not too fond of it, but it's an inventive use of bits for sure.

Hooooley doooooley, that's cool!! So many "look at the way he used <Insert parts name here>, it's so inventive" moments on that model.

Reminds me of General Grevious from the newer Star Wars movies in the seemingly slimness of him.

Very well done.

(Though, the shooting arm looks a little long..... but it's still very cool :) )

Penguin of Death - November 12, 2007 12:03 PM (GMT)
I like the slimness of him, but still think he needs a bit more to him to make it look like he really could work. More pistons/hoses/cables. Have you seen the film Virus, aprt from the lack of organic bits that's what he reminds me of

MutantMaggot - November 12, 2007 05:24 PM (GMT)
it's very good, though it seems a tad slim. If possible, perhaps you could use parts from a normal daemon prince, to indicate he is metal because it was used to re-construct his body.

It reminds me more of a defiler than a daemon, fluff-wise. <_<

very nice, and due to real size I doubt the bulkiness is really an issue.

MM :)

(It would make an awesome model in Inquisitor -- I don't know what as, but I'd be awesome!)
