Title: Ragnarok and Roll

Here is my interpretation of a Ragnarok Battle Tank, also affectionately known as the MkI Mobile Bunker by the men of the Imperial Guard. This vehicle was developed during the Krieg Civil War and since then has been exported to other worlds as a less expensive alternative to the Leman Russ.

Some interesting notes is that each Ragnarok comes with an integrated rough terrain package. This reduces its maximum speed to that of your average infatryman, which makes it an excellent infantry support vehicle.

My design was inspired by Dave Taylor's work which can be found here:

As always, C&C is welcome.

I was actually sitting next to DT when he was working on one of these monsters one day. He painted them a soviet green IIRC. The angles look great.

I like it.

More Rags.

For my reserve company Rags, I'm going to use some weapon combo's I don't normally take. For example, a Las-cannon and Heavy Bolter. The next one I will even take Heavy Flamer Sponsons. Since they are reserve units, it makes sense to have some of the less popular weapon fits, just in case I need/want them.

This tank isn't the permanent home to the Tank Commander, It is just there so I can see how it fits.
