Tepok - October 26, 2007 10:19 PM (GMT)
Aright, I thought I'd start off with showing you guys something that I've almost completed, I'll post my earlier wip pics aswell though If anyone wants me to.

It might not appear like it at a first glance, but it does have a frontal assault ramp ;)

So, this is as far as I've gotten on my skullhamma:

Now thats a skullhamma!

Fantastic looking build there Tepok, definatly worth looting.
Any chance of a shot of the assault ramp open?

Tinners - October 26, 2007 10:34 PM (GMT)
Looks good, the grot is the best part so far, tho the whole thing needs more grots.

KayvaanShrike - October 26, 2007 10:55 PM (GMT)
Awesome work mate. Thats a lot of plasticard scoring and Orkyfying! I take my hat off to you.

Astador - October 27, 2007 05:18 AM (GMT)
So cool! Make me one! :D

jasevx - October 27, 2007 07:20 AM (GMT)
Is there anything left of the baneblade!

Great work, and I agree, lets see the ramp!

Some Guy - October 27, 2007 07:42 AM (GMT)
Probably the best grot ever implemented on a tank!
I love this!
Brilliant plasticard work- what thickness is it on the main structural work? Also, what is the greyish material on the sides that has the grating on it? :)

Galikoe3 - October 27, 2007 04:59 PM (GMT)
Very awesome that is there, you gotta love that grot.

all of it is bloody awesome, how log did it take you to get to that stage.

MutantMaggot - October 27, 2007 05:04 PM (GMT)
Really good. I like the way you used a Night Goblin with an archer's arm for the grot, he really has 'character'.

A really good Skullhamma.

For da orkses!

MM

Tinners - October 27, 2007 10:41 PM (GMT)
I dont think the ramp actually opens, the skull and gob on the front count as it tho.

@Some Guy: The grey stuff is just tread plate from barrule, I have a few sheets of that, its just the same as plasticard but not white.

Tepok - October 28, 2007 11:52 AM (GMT)
Thanks guys, I've done a bit more work so far, more pics later today, as for the assault ramp, Tinners is right, it doesnt move, I guess it could if I had used actual hinges, but I didnt.

MutantMaggot - October 28, 2007 07:42 PM (GMT)
That is one impressive baneblade. How big is it compared to 'standard' baneblades by now?

MM

Lord Commander Eidolon - October 28, 2007 09:28 PM (GMT)
that skullhamma is superb matem what did you use for the cannon?

Rictus - October 28, 2007 11:22 PM (GMT)
Very impressive. Really lovely. Looking forward to seeing it all painted up.

Tepok - November 4, 2007 09:42 PM (GMT)
@ MM : it's just as big as a normal BB
@ Eidolon : Just normal plumping pipe from Focus

Update,

I'm going to add a washer later on, but I first wanna see how the barrel looks like fully painted, anyway, I've finished the metal apart from rust:

Brilliant, best Orkyfikashun of the Baneblade that I've seen! Can't wait to see it painted, don't forget the graffiti and weathering!

Tony88 - November 5, 2007 01:15 AM (GMT)
Cool conversion, very Ork like.

Nice work, looking forward to more of it.

Digits - November 5, 2007 01:32 AM (GMT)
That is AWSOME!!!!!! Very good conversion with lots of orky riveted plates. I particularly like the "fuel" containers. If I can achieve something even close on my ork flyer, I'll be a happy bunny!

Now get painting! ;)

Tepok - November 17, 2007 08:19 PM (GMT)
Thanks guys :D

I've already posted these pics on the waaagh, but thought I'd add them to this thread.
Well, I was taking part in the Waaagh's Sekret Santa 'competition' , and christmas came early this year! A lovely gift from spain, by PeaceCraft, 4 Burna Boyz and a Big Mek, I've since added another boy and an oil squig.

A paint job befitting them!

Yet again, well done Tepok. You are a legend in the red eyes of Mork 'n' Gork. Yep. Legend.

Ragnarork will come, and Tepok will be there to lead it ... (is that just fantasy, or not?)

MM :)

schoolcormorant - November 18, 2007 09:12 PM (GMT)
Loving the rolled up sleeves look I must say lol.

They mean business, smart casual business :)

Cheers guys,

@MM - yer that's just WHFB, and ya forgot Bork, no matter how debatable his existence is ;)

@SC - And extreme german effiency.... if orks can be efficient...

Got a wee bit done on the skullhamma over the last two days, and just realised I hadn't taken any pics yet, I'll do about 20 min more work on it tonight, so it'll change a bit:

Its great to see a unique Orky Army, brilliant plasticard work!

scrubout - November 19, 2007 12:17 PM (GMT)
Wow, those Orks are wicked, and good to see you still working on the BB (she's looking great!).

Could you get some close up/better pics of the Ork artwork, that stuff looks awesome too.

-scrubout

Deserter - November 19, 2007 12:51 PM (GMT)
I love them boyz! Saw them on the-waagh but didn't realise it was you :) Are they flamers on the mek's arms, or shootas? They're just brilliant, love the painting too! Your Skullhamma is a complete beast. The scheme is perfect!

Novogord - November 19, 2007 02:44 PM (GMT)
They just screem orc to me. Not because of the green color. And do you need an driver licence for that tank?(A cool idea, an orc swinging with his driver license).

Tepok - November 19, 2007 09:27 PM (GMT)
Thanks guys, I've managed to get some kommandos done tonight
, these are the much favoured Barrel commandos that so many people have made but I couldn't resist joining the hordes of people who already have similary BArrel based kommandos..

Therefore, they're not very original..
Some barrels aren't drilled on the pics, but I've done that now, and I've given the nob a big ole silencer too.

As always when I see these guys ... lol ...

I can assure you that any Imperial commander would be rather concerned at seeing these terrors, and go round the back for a rest [insert noise of tank revving here]. :D

They certainly capture the orky feel as well as your baneblade. :)

MM

PS> Good greenstuffing, it really adds to their character.

Tepok - November 20, 2007 10:24 PM (GMT)
Heh, thanks m8, I'll get them painted as soon as possible, and as soon as I manage to get the 'oily' orange colour I've got planned right (for the barrels).

Tepok

Tepok - November 23, 2007 08:51 PM (GMT)
I got some advice from Kornork & DocNuk over at the waaagh on how to paint the barrels, so far I've tried Kronork's idea, and it looks really cool imo:

I also got a new Nob for my sluggas finished, thought I'd show himaswel, Nobfug Shakslag!
THe banner pole really sucks, I know, so I'm repainting that as soon as I get time!

Great work here Tepok, I love the hat on the Nob, makes him look a bit like an Orky commissar!

The barrel Kommandos may have been done by others but that's probably because they look brilliant, it's that kind of humour in units that makes Orks awesome. B)

The Skullhamma looks great too, I've never been a big fan of the GW one but this one is cool, especially with the mahoosive gun!

Tepok - November 23, 2007 09:19 PM (GMT)
