Title: A 3 Dragon Order Tech Rhino
Description: salvage an old rhino & give it new life

Pictures of this build will be posted this week.
THE FORGES OF GALIKOE 3 ARE BEING FIRED UP
I think it is about time I try my hand at some vehicles and jump straight in at the deep end and do a salvage/scratch build type job.
So here goes.......
I have found an old Rhino that my little boy trashed some time ago and thought.."Hey why not make a new one for my techmarine".
The rhino has the full chassis but all doors have been sanded down that much they are hardly noticeable except the back door, its missing 1 exhaust housing and both its lights.
Its also missing front windscreens and the tops of the exhausts also one hatch on the top and it has a razor back hatch on it (the one used to house the lascannons). That I might keep and use it for some type of crane.
Would love to hear suggestions and maybe see some models every one else has done to get inspiration.

You should enter the Scrapheap Challenge, thats exactly what this type of project is for! :)
So I would check that out.

I am going to be removing the exhaust housing on the other side too, and make a bulkier one each side. That way the shutter door on one side will fit nicely(I hope). And the computer.(diagnostic relay station) on the other side. Trying to find a suitable crane now for the top.
I am still undecided as to how the front of the rhino will look. It needs some kind of offensive weaponry but I dont want to go OTT with it.

just waiting on plasticard then its full steam ahead, and the fact I still haven't been able to find a suitable crane arm yet has put a scupper on the project at the moment.

Just got the drop pod templates..my question is has anyone got them if so do they need resizing or can I just print them off staight away.
Also, for some strange reason thought this would be a good idea to do..... A titan/flyer crossbreed. This should'nt be too hard to do, but what might pose the problem for me would be putting to a VDR.
Help would be greatly appreciated on this matter.

I am planning something quite big for next vehicle project, but before I dive head first into templates, card and glue, I was wondering if any body can explain the chaos flyer that is out out now.
e.g.
design rules
is it the choas version of a landspeeder?
I have plans for a scrtchbuilt SM Air Force/Fleet and not wanting to have thunder hawks or ig planes.

I haven't seen this one yet, is it a FW model?

Do you mean the hell blade?
Rictus - March 13, 2008 05:03 PM (GMT)
The only Chaos fliers I know of are the Hellblade and Hell Talon which are aircraft. The Hellblade being lighter than a Lightning while the Hell Talon is a fighter bomber so it bigger than a T'bolt.
The only other Chaos flier I can think of is the Dreadclaw which is the Chaos equivalent of a Drop Pod (though is more controllable than a pod and is almost an aircraft in its own right).
Is it one of these you mean or something else entirely?
Penguin of Death - March 13, 2008 05:32 PM (GMT)
And the Harbinger bomber which is quite (very) large
