Title: Counts-As Plastic SoB Conversion?
Description: my next crazy idea...

I've had a Witch Hunter army in the planning stages for quite some time now. I was previously bound and determined not to include any actual Sisters, mostly as I really don't like metal models at all. However, after embarking on a relatively extensive IG Storm Trooper conversion project, I had an idea...what about converting models to count as SoB?

So I've begun planning...I'm thinking Cadian parts for the main, though I could perhaps go with Space Marine Scouts. Either way, I think for the bolters I'm going to chop the magazine off and join them to a backpack with guitar wire (pretty much just for something different...). They'll use SoB rules, but be converted Scouts or IG. I briefly considered using plain Space Marines, but I think Scouts or IG better represent the lower strength and ballistic skill of the SoB.

So, I've got some questions for you all...which would look better (Scouts or IG)? Is this a worthwhile project? Is the bolter idea a good one, or simply unnecessary? I'll likely whip up at least a Cadian-based test model, as I've got a few spares lying around. I'd love to hear from you all...

im not entirely sure right now, but wouldnt eldar torsos be best? half of them have boobs already. i'm sure that you could work it out. i am checking the similarities of the two model sets now...

Hmmm, that's a thought...though to be honest, I'm not all that bothered about gender. They could just as easily be all male, so far as I'm concerned...I'm sure I'd be able to justify it fluff-wise. Maybe make them a fanatical, well-equipped division of =]l[= Storm Troopers assigned to the Ecclesiarchy or somesuch...

But yeah, thanks for the idea!

For either gender, Guardian torsos would work quite well, and you could use DA torsos for sergeants and characters. With how form-fitting their uniforms are, they'd make a great representation for elite troopers on some type of combat stealth insertion, as many an inquisitor would use. Plus, they're still ornamental enough to suit any inquisitor's fancy ;)

Actually... hmmm... this is giving me an idea... dammit, I hate getting ideas when I'm broke :P
