So I'm abould to embark in the painting escapade of the Ork Waffaaaa and I've hit a Painter block (more like a brick wall) So how would you paint a fighta bommer? I'm going to put checker striping on the wings but I need help to decide how to paint it.

Well you can't really go wrong with the traditional Red...

I would paint it red (coz' red unes go fastaaa), with lots of danger stripes on the wings and some black and white checkered parts. Ow I would model some additional plates on the plane and paint it in different colours (boltgun or tin bitz).

red with a black-white chess schema and lots of grafiti and rust

Or take a different approach - If an Ork was looking for inspiration he'd look at races well known for thir flyers, like the Eldar or Tau, how about a rough approximation of the usual intricate eldar designs, coloured circles instead of gems etc. Maybe the ork would even believe it was camoflagie to fit in and sneak up on the Pansees

iv painted mine ogre flesh. will get picture up later. wish i did do it red tho,

wouldnt it be easier for the ork just to steal one or shoot one and weld pieces on it :huh:
