well... since im a dumbass, my GD entry has nothing to do with air :P so doesnt really fit in the other GD thread... so here's my own log for golden daemon... its my first time to Games Day, and hence my first time entering Golden Daemon...

Here are my victims;

a full troupe of 10 guys with all the upgrades... well... except all kisses ;)

im a bit under the weather at the moment so will probably only get them assembled today... will be back for an update by tomorrow though ;)

Ooh looking forward to this mate :) I'm planning on getting some Harlies soon, I have some "alien temple" resin bases just waiting for them.

Oooooh, Harlies are fun to paint. Looking forward to seeing how this log progresses. I'd love to enter a GD but the NorthWest gets no love from GW.

oh, by the way guys... theres 10 guys i need to paint and i want to individualise each one... i think ive got an idea for the troupe master and one of the basic harlies as well as the jester...

though i am totally open to suggestions on what to do with the seer and other 6 harlies painting wise ;) come on guys, gimme ideas!!

Hmm, cool. well, as you know I've used a High elf mage for my spiritseer, so something along the lines of incorporating elf staffs and such...

Oooh, prettyfull :P I base coat all my minis by hand now. It doesn't take too much longer and you end up with a much better covering than you do with a spray.

Are you going to do a display/scenic base for them too?

I've been thinking about it, but im not sure... we'll see ;) anyways, before these guys go to GD, 5 of them will be used to enter the local stores own painting comp, all entries get £5 off yer coach ticket to Games Day and the winners get their coach ticket for free :P

another anyway... didnt get much done last night to be honest... erm... basecoated the masters coat and hair... and thats it :P


edit: dont worry about that black bit inside his coat ;) its actually part of the dangly bit attaching him to his base, so it wont be purple :P or will it? <_<

HOLY CRAP it's the Joker! Are you planning to make the entire troop look like Batman villans?

oh crap! you're too fast for me there dino :P yeah the scheme is based on the joker ;) and the harly to the right of the pick is gonna be painted like... well, like Harly actually :P

but the rest of the guys are gonna be generic sort of harlequin paint schemes... perhaps with a bit more variation in the patterns... ie the Death Jester is gonna have some pinstriping and checkers going on, and some other probably will do as well, along with the famous diamond pattern...

I might even try and work in a drawing a did a couple months back... hold up ill try and find the link... dont know where I'll put it though :P oh, and also gonna throw in some more card imagery, ie all 4 suits will be represented somewhere somehow ;)

Edit: though the Death Jester could probably be Black Mask... and Poison Ivy shouldnt be too hard... if only I had someone who could be Bane :P lol...

Very true. But catwoman and Mr.Freeze could work. Not so sure how that'd work though for freeze. :huh:
