Title: [Tutorial] 4 Step Eyes
Description: Ross style.

A couple have inquired about how I do my eyes, so I present a quick 4 step tutorial. Everyone has a different method I guess, this one works for me :)

Step 1: Throw some white over the eye area, you don't need to be carefull, just make sure you get all of the eye.
Step 2: Using black, draw a verticle line throught the eye, matching them up so it appears to be 'looking' in the direction you want it too.

Step 3: Grab a brownish colour, Vermin Brown works well. Now trace around the eye with this colour. This is where you get the definition for the eye, depending (though trial and error) on how you outline the eye you can make the model look like it's squinting, surprised, angry, sad (cause sad is used soo much in models, there's nothing like a demon who looks sad...... :D )

Step 3

Step 4: Once that's dry, apply your base flesh colour around the eye. Leave a little line between the white of the eye and your base colour, that way you'll get a dark line highlight that makes the eye stand out better.

And that's it, simple as. Hope this has been of some help :)

Simple but very effective!

I usually stop after the first two steps. And then decide that these minis are way too small to have painted eyes

But looking at your tutorial is making me feel rather tempted to try again tho..
