Took me just under an hour and imho certainly tabletop standard.

Sorry to come to this late, but I've picked up some dirt-cheap Catachans (original metal type - I wouldn't touch any other sort!) and remembered Ciaphas Cain's thread from Warseer and thought the woodland BDUs would look great on them.

The tute's terrific, but I'm not sure I'm really in the mood for buying new paints for everything.

I'll be using a mix of Astronomican Grey with Bestial Brown to do the base coat, a mix of AG and Camo Green for the first stripes, Bestial Brown and Bubonic Brown (with a bit of Chaos Black to tone it down) for the second stripe and then Chaos Black to finish.

I doubt it'll look as good as this, but we'll give it a whirl, shall we?

Thanks mate. I will be doing this, except I will be doing the desert version of this, which is easier as its just two colours! But cheers for the tips on that anyway, never know some body armour bits might turn up in this scheme
