Title: Baneblade Colour Schemes
Description: I've got three to paint!

Ok, so, first of all my Guard colour scheme is red and bone (check out my log in my signature to give you a better idea.

I have three baneblades to paint for an upcoming apocalypse game and can't decide on the exact colour scheme. Here are the options I have in my head at the moment:

1) All red tank with hatches and details in bone (usual vehicle colour scheme for my army)
2) All red tank with the whole of the main turret and two lascannon turrets in bone
3) Red with bone and white detailing.

Please let me know what you all think, but be quick, I want to make a start in a few days!

I think you should do the opposite, mainly bone with red hatches etc.

Id have to agree. Red baneblades rarely look that good to me personally. If your not sure on the cream go have a look at Digits', his looks really good.

Just remember, when painting that amount of bleached bone, the tank brush and dheneb stone are your friends :D

Paint it like the Vostroyan baneblade, but have red on it in sections.

Pretty much just bestial brown, drybrush graveyard earth, then rotting flesh.
