Title: Fictional Character Competition?

Penguin of Death - April 28, 2008 01:21 PM (GMT)
Inspired by this thread

and the glut of comic book films heading our way I was wondering about a competition for a fictional character mini at some point?

the main disadvantage is that many of them would only be display pieces

Thats alright, my 669 crewman and Hard enough competition pieces are only for display. I dont mind.

hmm... sounds interesting... havent looked at the link yet (probably be a good idea to do so)... but would it be like sculpting a model of a fictional character or just buying a random companies model of that character and painting it?

I'd definately be interested though

Wouldn't be only a display piece if you were into Wierd War or something similar (Marvel Heroes miniatures game as well).

There's a few companies that make generic super hero figures, then there's Marvel specific ones (X-Men, Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Daredevil, Punisher etc etc etc).
I can dig out links if anyone's interested.
