Well you don't see me doing much of it because I haven't the room! But with the main objective needed for open bash plus the plans of converting the garage into a game room, its time to get cracking.

First the Open Bash stuff.

Apocalypse Blast markers, sanded and smashed vehicle bits added

The main objective at Open Bash will be a Necron ancient artefact.

Trying to get the sides to fit.

Still some work to be done on the pyramid, but put on the base, hills and old ruined walls added.

More to come!

It's too late to point out you can get Fererro Rocher (sp) in big plastic pyramids isn't it?

Looking good though

Sal might even believe that you got her the chocolate as a nice gesture.

Looks like you are off to a good start.

Pyramid is a really cool idea! What are you going to paint it with? Maybe a few crystal formations growing up around it?

Just one tip on the blast markers. The rim around the edge of each piece would look better sanded too. Otherwise you end up with a shiny flat edge which tends to stand out. Cool concept of adding vehicle parts ;)

ooh, lovin the pyramid  wish i had space to do terrain :(

You gonna put anything on top? Like a crystal or beacon or anything?

Well it was a crystal, but its going to be resprayed in roughcoat and made into Fantasy terrain.

For the GD Board (and home!) I've pulled this out of a box

You dont realise how big this is, its approximately 12" x 18" so will make a nice big piece of scenery.

The Competition Piece has now had a second coat of sand added, trying to build it up in layers around the aircraft so theres strength in the board.
