The Termies look good. Nice work on the bases.

I think the Landraider could do with another coat or two of paint though. It looks a little streaky near the top. Maybe another contrasting colour to braek up the grey as well.

DEAMONHUNTER NEWS
i am going to paint more grey on that land raider.
im also painting some inquisitorial stormtroopers.
and the plasma mini cannon servitor has been made, for my shooty inquisitor that has also just been painted,
and 5 grey knights are being painted and are almost finished just some more grey and metal.

IMPERIAL NEWS
the emperors fist tank compagnie is coming mid oktober.
just need to get those euros ready!!
the vanqhuiser is ready for opperation blackspray that is planned for sometime tonight (the exact time is a secret)

and there are STIL 12 karskin and 20 guardsmen just waiting to be painted.

Judging by your DH Landie assault cannon and your DH weapons, you obviously are a dutchman who loves Gooold! Do you rollerskate aswell? ;)

They look to be coming on well, I would listen to catferret, another coat of paint will probably do to even out the Landie!

i will put some more grey on it butt i dont rollerskate :P

update!!

i painted 5 grey knights and the vannie, the tank is painted in a very dark grey cities of death camo :lol:

and the grey knights are painted gold red and grey with crackling bleu weapons

i just had to have tickets for rowwen heze, even though im getting it next week on tuesday.

and thats it no pics yet cause my pc chrashed :angry:

How is Rowwen Heze? And how did you make those bases? Are they pre made or are they done with green stuff.

rowwen heze is a dutch band from the province limburg (where i live, in the same village btw) and they make a strange sort of dutch country music.
its a happy beer drinking kinda music, and it kicks [arse].

the concert is held on november 15 and 16 november if i remember corectly.

the terminator base,s are mosly made with green stuff the most have

the desert/mud base :

step 1 : make a green stuff roll and putt it on the edges on the base with less on the middle and most on the side

step 2 : make a small steep on the edges with a wett sculpting knife.

step 3 : make cuts in the small steep wit a wet sculpting knife ,make sure it looks even.

step 4 : make the edges above the cuts in the green stuff look a bit rocky, and not like a clean round line.

step 5 : put a model in the middle make the model look cool to thats also important.

step 6 : spray the model black white green yellow or whatever basecoat you want to use. make sure it gets in the cuts as well.

finally : after painting it all ad a bit of grass to make it look mudie
or some other kind of flock.

and to make the tiles: simply take a bit of green stuff and cover around 40% to 60%of the base with it and make it look smooth.

after that make a couple of small lines in it so that it look like tiles and the lines shouldnt be the same lenght.

then add a symbol of your choise to putt in a bigger tile such [arse] a imperial eagle( just push one of those eagles from an ig tank set in the green stuff) and be done with it.

the last thing putt some grass on the parts of the base that arent covered in tile, you might want to put a tiny bitt on the edge of the tiles to make it look overgrown.

well hope to see someone do this.

Bram, this is a great topic for a tutorial, you do one up with pictures and you can post it in the modeling techniques section. ;)

As for your tanks, I think your land raider is a bit too plain. It's looks good, don't get me wrong, nice touches with the Inquisition symbols, but I think if you can accent some areas with red or white you'd be on your way. At the moment I feel it's a bit too gray.

Nice looking models, though I have to admit the metal doesn't appear solid enough but I'm sure that's down to personal preference.

i made the most metal look a bit dirty with watterd down flesh wash
and the basilisk is simply made to look dirty. as iff they have been using it for years.

oh i finished the helhound i wil try to paint the demolisher on sunday.
(cuase im having a relaxed saturday)

oh! even better news on next tuesday ill buy my tank compagnie.
and im turning 16(time for legal beers)on the first off november.
and im going to rowwen heze final concert of the year(doors open 15.00 doors closed 04.00:))

i just painted my medusa siege gun tomorrow pics will be taken and it wil be presented in just 2 days. it is a conversion btw.

i once made a chaos devastator marine for a friend of mine well i painted it in khorny colours, and now about half year after it i wanted to repaint it butt i got carried away and added loads of greenstuff and that super defiler head from the appocolypse upgrade frame.

and this is what itbecame, poor commander hu?

Well, I like the concept! The defiler head is a little sick! :D

Only one comment though, I would be tempted to paint the guardsmans uniform rather than use the ink.

well its time for a few pictures ive been painting for a while so here ya go a few of the older models from the shelf.

ill be posting some of my tanks in a few minutes or hours since photobucket is kinda slow at the moment.
certainly when i want to upload 20 pics at a time.

so since its loading now i might as wel tel you about my upcomming projects and stuff, the medusa is done all painted and ready to kick butt, there are 4 lemman russes stil waiting for gleu ( i ran out) and the a few qonqeurs are waitinf for stuff like sponson heavy bolters and tracks.

my necrons are also waiting . something that thjey are good at :D , my lord was extremly cheesy last night deep striking 10 warriors and himself behind a unit of 5 havocs..... 23 shots.... no kills :blink:

they got charged by a unit of 10 berzerkers and i lost 8 warriors but they wore regained by the also super cheesy ressurection orb, 6 of them stood up once more. and wore deep striked back to my main line

i also used pharias this time they killed lots of chaos marines a unit of raptors and a deamon prince, they also wounded a greater deamon.

at the end there wore 5 pharias still standing (NOT under 50% B) )
butt since they dont count as necron the force phased out and left the three remaining berzerkers and a wounded deamon prince in confussion.

Bram, your servitor and IG heavy machine gunner would look a lot more finished if you drilled out the barrels.

The tank is interesting though!

well i wanted it to look like a bombard but it looks more like a medusa dont you think?

was something wrong with it then?

oh and digits the servitor isnt finished yet i need to repaint the thing since its no longer an ig servitor but a deamonhunter one
