Random idea:
How about having a thread in one of the painting areas where people can talk about or give advice on various painting techniques? Different threads could cover different techniques every week or so.
I was going to post a thread tomorrow about VERY basic glazing as its simple to do and could really help new painters. Then other people could post links or add their own experiences and tutorials onto that.
Maybe summarise somewhere as well?

I like the idea in general. It would be good at collecting similar tips, tutorials etc together.

It would need to go into the Tutorial area, they can then be linked in the Tutorial database so they can alwasy be found easily and to avoid people needing to post the 'how can i do this...?' questions.

We already have similar things such as the Stowage thread which collect similar tips but on modeling rather than painting.
