Title: Ammobunker transfers

Captain Wolverine - October 3, 2007 10:49 AM (GMT)
After a suggestion I think it is a very good Idea that we design and make water silde transfers for us to put on to our minis.

I have found a place that will either supply us with the paper to do it ourselves or will make it for us:

http://www.decalpaper.co.uk/custom-decals.html

what do people think?
Should we design several types for different armies or just a standard IG/SM one.

Doe anyone know UK base company etc etc

Also anyone got any designs in mind

edit; found uk firm: http://www.on-linepaper.co.uk/acatalog/Dig...y_Products.html

nice but needs to be simpler

I like the general idea, but have to agree with Cpt Wolverine, it needs more simplicity.

What designs should we do, and what army are we really doing? For chaos, perhaps the star with some sort of lightning in the centre, but for IG, perhaps just a sword and a gun crossed over the sign of the Aquila, with text reading: "Ammo XII"

What do you think?

Well, it needs to be smaller to use on the front page...

Or if you prefer:

This is where I bought transfer paper if you want to compare prices. Do the sites you listed print it for you?

Captain Wolverine - October 4, 2007 10:31 PM (GMT)
You of the companies doe print them for us would do it myself but I can't get it small enough

Captain Wolverine - October 10, 2007 05:42 PM (GMT)
just a quickie about transfers here an email I got from a compnay about making them:

Andrew,

If these are for the benefit of your customers, and you expect some
repeat order, probably the easiest way to set this up is to do a
standard sheet (similar to our normal sheets) and let people order.
We did something
similar with Bolter and Chainsword:

How does that sound?

Hi there guys..

I can certainly reccomend Griffon Games transfers.. I have purchased several of theirs and they have all been great.. The cogs are really great for Ad Mech ;)

I have seen some of those they have done for 'Bolter and chainsword' guys as well and have been impressed..

These guys are certainly woth checking out for transfers..

By the way I'm not linked to the company in any way.. just had great use of their products, and great customer service!!

Best wishes,

Carl
