http://z3.invisionfree.com/The_Ammobunker/...p?showtopic=658Many fell by the wayside on this one, over twenty entered, only three finished!!!! Oh well, I think we all agree that the three finalists are all equally deserving of praise!
Please vote. Voting will close on Sunday Night.

Despite those crazy lookign lightining claws, i went with Wolfy. great conversions and beautiful scheme.

voted for angel robertsons as i think though the scheme is simple it is very striking, and would be easy to replicated to high quality levels over a short space of time, i found Old Guards scheme to be very difficult to replicate (quickly) or well, and Wolfys are a bit to clean and unbalanced for my liking. although all three are brilliant in their own rights, well done on completion guys :)
edit: and i LOVE the light sourcing on the plasma rifle :D

Hmm,tis a tricky one this. Wolvies' scheme is very well executed and striking, but somehow not quite guard like (better suitd to Inq troops IMO). I'd also imagine it would e very hard to replicate to that quality (I paint my elves white and red and it's not nice :()
Angel Robertson's is another interesting scheme, but I'm not sure that I like it.
Old Guard's is the most guard-like scheme, but not very striking.... hmm.....
I think my vote will go with Old Guard on this one; it just seems the most suited to a guard regiment, and I like that about it.
Great work all round though :)

Im glad to see this has got everyone quite worked up! Nearly as many posts as the terrain compo and plenty of time to go!
Appoloclypse - February 8, 2008 12:02 AM (GMT)
I went with Angel's paint scheme, I realy like the purple and white, my original gaurd scheme was puple and red. And old gaurd, love the digital camo, I am so temted to use that on an army, though that might be because I have alot of friends and family in the US army.
