Alot of people have asked to see my Armoured Regiment together, well minus troops and artillery vehicles, here it is:



The two armoured company, the 1st Company is Battle Tanks, the 2nd is support, Squadron of Annihilators, one of Demolishers and a third to be built.

55 in total when I've finished! still three chimeras, hydras, basilisks, griffons and Super Heavy to finish off.

Backed up by 50 SL, and nearly a hundred Kasrkin.

If thats not enough, my Inquisitorial Force is 3000 points!

your ac is so much bigger then mine :(

and you got fighte planes sentinels and a baneblade AND a stormblade coming up.


i have a puny amount off: 5 leman russes, 4 qonqeurers, 2 basilisk,s,
2 vanquishers, 1 strange siege tank, 1 demolisher
and finaly a hellhound. and 20 storm troopers and 6 sentinels.

The ebay bank! on average I've spent a tenner per tank, tho ten have been donations due to write offs, and I've rebuilt them.

Nice, can I get a closer look of the Reccie tank with the radar on the turret. The one with the Salamanders, but isn't a Salamander.

I need to get my Regiment posted in all it's glory one day too. A very inspiring shot.

Please excuse me while I go and sit in a corner all huddled up and start rocking back and forth saying something along the lines of "so many tanks" repeatedly.

I have decided that with three swappable Skelly Tank Commanders, my Drogan Armour will double as an extention to my Apoc Army. Still not enough to take on your wee force but it is growing!

(I know, there are few unfinished paint jobs in there! - I'm working on it!)

You know, I used to be impressed when I saw my mate Dave's Armoured Company... which at the time was around about 9 or so tanks...

Those though... damnit people, stop making my jaw hit the floor, it's painful...

I would take pictures of mine, but 3 tanks ( 2unpainted) and 20 infantry is a very boring AC... One day it will be finished...one day....

Mine so far, unpainted i know.

I've noticed a lot of people leave the tracks off. Does it really make painting any easier? I've always found it quicker to put them on when biulding as I've found plastic glue to ruin new paintwork

The AC's on this forum are all awesome. It would be fantastic to have a shot of all the ACs from here together.

I find that its easier to paint the tracks on the tank, just do them first of all after undercoating and then you will be fine. Or at least leave any weathering of them til after the main bodywork is done because they you can weather the tank and tracks at the same time =mucho realism! But you tread-heads all know this!

I'm sure we could photoshop something like this some day...I'll post my own soon enough, but it pales in comparison to these obscenely obese armoured companies!

what would people say to a tau AC? i think the idea would open opportunities for more usage of the Forgeworld turrets etc. That said, i need to get some cash before i can carry out this crackpot plan.

Tau AC's look really smart! I wouldn't fancy painting them myself like, but really smart!

Dear lord I thought I was one with alot of tanks, me and 17 leman russes, but man you guys mark me look like a fool.

after ive built my last 8 russes ill post a piccy of my tanks :)

but beware the (vast)majority will be unpainted lol
